PERFORMANCE MAGIC DAY

Have been putting this together over the last few weeks with a good friend and we've decided that It's about time we shared with everyone what we think makes a good children’s entertainer. We will be discussing everything at the day from finding a character, insurance, good advertising and giving away our whole acts that we've been using for the past 20/25 years from funny lines, why we use certain props, how to create added laughter & tension to your show, why the flow of a show is very important and everything else to help others make a success of being the best children’s entertainer possible. This is the very quick advert that we’ve come up with to promote the days at Blackpool next weekend and if you have any questions then please fire away & we'll try to answer them for you.

The real secrets to making a good living as a Children’s Entertainer
Have you always wanted to become a children’s entertainer or improve your established act ?

How to use, look after and train doves and rabbits.

Graham - would this possibly be done via filming - to put on DVD for us 'fans' across the ocean? I would be very interested.

Hello
Im Mike, alias Micky the Magician and I will be hosting the Magic and Entertaining Day with Graham. (With his skills, and my good looks, this will be a fun day.)
I have been performing childrens magic since I was 16, Im now 50, and feel I have a great deal of experience to impart to newcomers, and established performers, to this fun and lucrative field of magic.
I have known Graham for years, hes been like a father to me, and we have often got together to develop routines and ideas.
I know the training day will have loads of important information, and will be an ideal springboard for potential entertainers. Having developed the plan of the day with Graham, I wish such an in depth course had been around when I was starting out.
Miss this at your peril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Respond with your thoughts please, although I wont hear them , so use the forum too.
See you on the day, and remember, there's only 20 places.

Unfortunately I didn’t make it to Blackpool and the upcoming venues are a bit far out, but this does sound fab! When I was starting last year (seems like a lifetime ago) I made the mistake of buying Quentin Reynolds DVD set for a whopping £350.00!!! Luckily the good people at Practical Magic honoured the money back guarantee. However, having learned the basics of twisting from Graham, I would be more than happy to invest £150.00 in one of your days if you set up a regular thing along side the care & share days! Speaking of which, I have now got my own party venue down in sunny Margate and could easily get 10 local magicians to attend if you wanted to head down our way for a care & share day some time :D
