Big Hi to everyone, I recognise some of your names from the Face Painting world, im K.J's on Face Painting Chat, but going by my real name on here as they said it was to short.

Anyway Big hello's to all.
I was a complete novice until I purchased a mixed bag of Qualatex yesterday.
I’ve nearly used them all up already lol!!!! there’s balloons every where in my house, im so chuffed with the results, I find im an addict already

I’ve learned the basics from you tube and a really easy book ive purchased from the boot sale for 25p, Well we all start somewhere lol!!!!

Would love to learn so much more and im very keen to get myself on a course or 2

I’m now about to purchase some more balloons but which ones do you all prefer
There's probably a thread on this already but I want to get my order in ASAP NEED MORE BALLOONS!!!!

So ive used the Qualatex and loved them, But also you have the symbol for Sempertex on this site and I see that these are a lot cheaper I presume that they are just as good as each other, please what would you recommend.
I also read the thread on what to buy a selection of multi packs and then separate the colours to see which ones you use the most, good advice.
Anyway im rambling any help much appreciated

Welcome to BTA (Balloon Twisters Anon) Yes it is very addictive and great fun.

There is also another site www.balloon-animals.com which also has a forum. I have found it useful to be part of both.

As for sempertex v qualatex it is a bit of an on going thing as to which is best. I prefer Quatalex but started of with both and decided which worked best for me.

Thanks so much Graham, my balloons came the very next day, I couldn’t believe it as I was hoping that they would come, I was jumping around like a Looney Toon lol!!!!!
Got kids to separate them all it took use nearly 2 hours lol!!!!

I’ve been a very busy girl I can tell you, ive defo got the BALLOON BUG!!! & it’s very catchy as my daughter whose 14 like's it too.
my Son who's 4 love's all the new designs, I'm now in the process of uploading some of my first attempts, please let me know what you think
