Have taken this day to be the first one of next year even though at the moment we are talking with Sempertex about sponsorship for next year.
I'm on the look out for someone to be the mystery lecturer, (have been in touch with who I think would be ideal to talk on the subject, just waiting for a reply to confirm everything) it will not actually be a balloon lecture but a mini talk on the history of balloon modelling and how it's changed over the years, from the early days with balloon books being written our and typeset by hand to todays computer technology.
Really looking forward to this talk so fingers crossed that we can get it all confirmed and booked in for the 13th Jan.

and he will be talking about the history of balloon modelling and how it's changed over the many years that Gerry has been twisting, Gerry has numerous books out on the subject and contributed and did the illustrations on the Doug Brearley book series,
"All wind & Twist"
He was also the brains behind the spitfire that we both built a few years back
