We are talking at the moment about sponsorship for next year so hopefuly will know costings etc in a few days and what the plan of action will be

It's looking ever more like sponsorship won’t be sorted out till early January at the earliest due to everyone being busy at this time of year for a sit down meeting. So Lyn, Thelma and myself have decided to run the day anyway, the cost will be £10 and will include lunch and a mystery lecturer but no voucher to spend on balloons as we will need to cover some costs in running and putting the event on.
We will also be limiting the day to 30 people maximum to keep the day informal and a sensible size for the teach in's/lectures.

Do you have any plans for a Care & Share Day up (or nearly up) this way (Scotland, North England) in the coming year? I understand you have to be where the customer is, but I would love to come to one and just wondered if it's on the agenda (yeah - I know it's selfish, but hey, if you don't ask...... )

We come up to Leeds, Manchester and Darlington every year and I used to do Scotland as well but the turnout was always very poor considering the amount of advertising we used to do for it. But we are always open to idea's and suggestions and are more than happy to put Scotland back on the agenda for next year.

Fantastic! Right, I'm going to try and drum up support up here then. (Failing that, I'll def be on for one of the others you've mentioned).

I'm in Edinburgh - so it's even the right side of the country! That's great that you'd do that, and in the same way that you'd be on for coming up here, similarly I'd be more than happy to join you in Newcastle if that makes more sense. Thanks for the encouragement, Dennis - I'll keep you posted!
