Hello all! Jack here. Just wanted to say hello to everyone who will be attending Twist and Shout 2009. We SoCal folks are very lucky to have this event in our backyard so I would like to offer my assistance. If there's anything any of you will need such as rubber cement, a certain kind of beer ;) please feel free to send me an email. They will have most these items in the vendor rooms but if you can think of anything that someone like me local can do for you before hand please let me know. See you all soon!!
Jack

Hi Jack
Gosh I can't tell how wonderful it is to have someone make such a gracious offer. So if you can help me it would make returning home be all the best! Here's my dilemma...I have two kiddos here at home (Albuquerque, the Home of the International Balloon Fiesta) and would really love to take a quick visit to Downtown Disney to buy a gifts. I have no idea how get there, be it taxi or bus/shuttle, and I'm wondering if anyone else would like to go and if we could share a ride. Can you help me? I know balloons are the TALK, and I'm barely going to find time to eat (aah haha), but I've got to make a little time thank them. If it weren't for my daughter, she's my tester for cool-ness! I would have never bought a balloon animal kit and I wouldn't be doing balloons today! Thank you so much for any and all help :D
Twistin' the day away, Sherry

Thanks for the quick response! I'll be arriving Wednesday the 4th. Flying into John Wayne at noon, and have shuttle arrangements to the hotel. I was thinking of trying to do a quick trip before dinner at TGI Fridays. Would that be good or possible?
Thanks Jack!!!!!
Sherry

Hello again. I will be under 1,000 balloons all day Wednesday. However I CAN either find someone to get you there or find the best way to shuttle you there. The hotel as well as Disneyland are right off the freeway so they are very easy to travel to and from. Im sure everyone in SoCal will do what it takes. (at twist and shout dont forget to ask me about the Disney outlet. This is where Disney sends the stuff the park could not hold any longer. Many items can be purchased half off that just left the park. Its very accessable from the hotel and great for someone who has to buy multiple gifts. I buy a lot of magic that comes from the Disney magic store for almost 75% off:) Yay, 7 more days!!

It's me again! You are so wonderful ;) hee hee! Well since you are going to be under construction (so to speak!) and I'm not sure if I'm going to be doing any shopping Wednesday (it'll give me a little more time to see if I can meet someone there who would also like to go). So..............do you need any help? It's the least I could do.
Sherry

Well the plan was to be catching the plane at mid-day today but with approx 8/10 inches of snow falling & heathrow airport closed I may well just be staying at home. Not even sure where Colin is as we believe he caught the 7.3o flight down from Scotland and on the way they closed heathrow.
The snow was higher than my car door and we have a 12 inch step out the back that has dis-appeared with Lyn modelling her new plastic bag snow shoes :D
