Addi Somekh is coming to the UK and teaching a workshop on Wednesday September 9th. I did his class at the Millennium Jam and it was a highlight for me. I really can't recommend it highly enough - awesome balloons and inspiring philosophy that has stayed with me ever since. £50 +VAT - worth it! Links with info below.

yep it's looking very interesting. I actually do own the Magic Magazine with Addi's article.

I just called the Qualatex and asked if kids also can come to the event, but it's only 18 and up.

Anyway, considering going. Who else is coming from our forum?

Unfortunately Kidology is on the 8th in Wolverhampton so can't make it, why hasn't Qualatex advertised this lecture? it's like Edd all over again :(

Thanks for the info. sounds interesting ... It's tempting, especially that magic tricks could help with the kids party entertainment....

Tony - Kidology is great, I go every year and I will be going this year aswell so it will be a busy few days for me.

There is also a toy and craft fair at the NEC on Monday 7th which I am thinking of going too.

I actually got the flyer through this time but suspect this is only because I have now had training at Bishops Stortford and am finally in their database.

Unfortunately, I can't make this one as we are having a weekend away for our 10th anniversary that that is going to wipe us out - prices of hotels in London is ridiculous

Remember to get jabs when you go to London... and passport maybe too, cause it is like another country, if not another planet in different universe.

LOL it may not happen if we can't find somewhere under £100 to spend the night.  The cheapest we have found so far is £120 ranging to well over £200 for the night.  If I am really lucky I may even get to visit Charles Fox's in Covent Garden and get some more face paints  :D

Kidology, not been for a few years, a lot of magic for sale, a half decent lectures sometimes, best of all the networking and catching up on the scandal and gossip (if there is any!!)

LOL
