I was absently doing stuff around the house when I heard an advertisement that caught my attention.  I was unable to find the preview online, but I found this:  http://tv.msn.com/tv/series/the-unpoppables/  Don't know if it will be any good or not --- but I saw balloon twisting.

I too have heard of the show but can find no information about it other than the fact that Addi Somekh is involved. To be honest the show will flop. Consider the fact that there is next to no advertising for the show and to be honest what we do does not make for good reality TV. Reality TV focuses on the drama of situations but I can think of very few times where my work has been "edgy".
I think they are trying for the same formula that Ace of Cakes holds but I cant see it fitting in right.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see this work and become really big. It would allow everyone to add a couple more bills to their current fee if our art was something bigger in the mainstream but I just don't think the puzzle pieces have lined up right.

As always,

See, personally I LOVE it. Watching those videos makes me very excited to see this come to light but as I said before, limited advertising has been a major factor in these things in the past.

GREAT!
Hope those episodes will be on DVD, that's the only way I can see them here in Germany...

BalloonHQ discussion...

"Here are the times for the show on TLC's site (Not easy to get to from homepage
of TLC):

//http://tlc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/daily.html?date=20110207.038"

There are two half hour shows.

I am very glad to her that this will only be a 6 episode series. That will allow the public to have a taste of what we do and then when it is all over we twisters will be there to quench their thirst for more. I am anticipating many annoying requests relating to the show. That sort of thing pushed me out of magic. Criss Angel comes on the scene and things spiral down.

As always,
Dylan

I've been checking and I have yet to find anything more than the 3 min clips posted on TLC. Anywhere else I've seen it won't let me watch as I'm in the wrong country!  :twisted:
