Title: Balloon Cart
Post by: nklaw on January 04, 2010, 02:36:31 PM
Hi everyone, this is the first time I post photos in this forum though I have been following the forum for a while. I came across this little shopping cart, just added a few pieces of wire mesh and it becomes quite handy for balloons display. The bag can easily contain more than 1000 balloons and there is space for a pump, 2 boxes for my scraps & markers, and my water bottle too.
I learnt a lot from the CDs I bought from Bonnie & Thelma; the designs are very nice and instructions easy to follow. I also learnt a lot from this forum, thanks to all the experts who post their designs here and share their experiences .cart_1.jpg[/attachment:11kmf6dd]Cart_2.jpg[/attachment:11kmf6dd]Cart_3.jpg[/attachment:11kmf6dd]

Does it double up as a seat as well?

Wow, I love it! I have been looking for an alternative to my busking bag which makes my shoulder ache and falls over when I put it on a chair. This cart could be the answer to my prayer. Where did you get it please? Was it expensive? Love what you've done with the wire mesh - your balloons look great on display.

yes, this cart can serve as a stool. It is made in Shanghai, China. I bought it for Singapore $50 (= US$35 ). One week after I bought it, I wanted to buy another one for my friend, but was sold out....
the idea here is to use wire mesh to hold balloons; try attaching it to other stand or foldable chair, the result is the same...

loads of similar items on ebay if you look for them - especially under the 'mobility' areas - i am sure there would be one in there which meet your needs? try looking under fishing tackle seats aswell?

£15 delivered seems a pretty good price - you would need to add the display mesh bits, but thats what the original poster did anyway - and thats what i am going to have to do, as i have just bought one myself! when it arrives i will add a few modifications, go faster stripes, low profile alloy wheels, a decent sound system and spoilers - only joking, though i have just bought one!
