David Grist Memorial Lecture.
Raffle or Ebay. I have Issue one of balloon magic to give away, the full set of David Grist DVD's,
a brand new floor pump from Australia and my art2go crafting bag that I used to use when balloon modelling.
So instead of putting Issue one of balloon magic on ebay where only those with a few pennies to spare could
win it I thought it might be nicer to run a raffle. So with shipping worldwide etc the plan possibly is to make
it $5 for 5 tickets and for the UK £5 for 5 tickets. The thinking is I will only ship the DVD's and balloon magic
worldwide so as you can only win one of two prizes it should be cheaper. The plan would be for half the
proceeds to go to the Grist family and half to the balloon artistes guild.

I have two full sets of The David Grist DVD's, the plan is the very last one will go into the raffle.
Then we will put the last full set that I will sell onto Ebay.

David's DVD's will be going over to digital download.

I do have a few single copies left,

I would like to offer them at a discount but with the money raised going to the Grist family this is not possible.

Here are the raffle prizes, we will send these worldwide.

1, The balloon magic magazine.
2, The David Grist DVD set.

These prizes are only for the UK due to shipping costs.

4, One Stroke Floor Pump.
5, Art2go crafting balloon Bag.

Please note that the art 2 go bag is second hand, it is not a new unit but is in excellent condition.
I used it for a few jobs around London.

Now we have to try to work out a fair'ish system for tickets as some from abroad are unable to be in the full raffle.

My thoughts at the moment are that I will put tickets onto the website,
as if I'm getting many enquires I will have to send everyone my paypal details
and that would make a lot more work.


For the UK the tickets will be £5 each or three for £10

For non UK the tickets will be £5 for two tickets and six tickets for £10

This makes up I think for two prizes not being available for worldwide.

We were thinking about £5 for 5 tickets and then £10 for 15 tickets but then the worldwide would have had 30 tickets per £10
and I think would have made it very difficult for us to run and manage. This still gives everyone the same percentage chance.

If anyone sees a flaw in all this then please speak up. Thanks.

Half the money raised will go to the Grist family and the other half will go to run a UK Care & Share Party day with a star Lecturer.
The draw will take place at the David Grist Memorial lecture at lunchtime on the second day, 6th July.

Everyone from the UK can win all the prizes but from overseas you can only win the first three prizes due to shipping costs.
Because of this we have two price structures,
For the UK it's £5 a ticket or 5 tickets for £20
For overseas it's $5 a ticket or 5 tickets for $20
