Hey there everyone, Hope your all doing well.  Firstly can anyone suggest a source for getting these colours:  Mocha Brown, Blush & Chocolate Brown (want to do a character Cayote model, don't know what colour browns I'll need).  Secondly, I'm looking for some large balloons 660's, and a book/ dvd that explains the various models with them.  Did see a shop called 'firetoys', they had some 660's, anyone used them?

Click on the sempertex button in the top right of this site.

Graham (who runs this forum too) sells at least 2 of the browns you are after and was talking about getting a mid brown in too.  He also sells 660's.  Obviously these will be Sempertex and not qualatex but in my opinion sempertex are better as they will take more abuse and don't burst as easily  

I think I got all these colours off Graham.

I've not had that exact one but I had one that looked similar and it was a waste of money.  I bought this one http://www.twenga.co.uk/offer/64296/914 ... 51101.html and not only had problems with it being extremely difficult to use and starting to come apart with about 2 uses but the vendor I purchased it from ripped me off on return postage even though it was faulty so I ended up £13 out of pocket.  :twisted:  :twisted:

If you are getting a floor pump make sure they are made of plastic (smoother action) and a no return valve.  I now have a filbert pump (Bert) who I bought from America for approximately £115 (including VAT which you will get stung for by Parcel Force  :twisted: ) but have to say it is worth every single penny  

Sorry just checked the link and the first pump I bought no longer seems to be sold.  It was a cardboard tube covered with a vinyl yellow sheet with various things printed on it including bad balloon dogs and giraffes.

This is the pump made by Johan & Leo from IBS balloons who run the millennium jam balloon convention, http://www.millenniumjam.com

I've had this one for over 5 years and it's excellent, well weighted, sturdy and practical.

I had the same pump as Yvonne had bought for me and I have been ok with it. I have modified a bit I admit. I would like to go for a plastic one though and am looking at maybe making my own.

Just to let everyone know that I ordered and received my balloons, which I ordered from http://www.sempertexballoons.co.uk  

They arrived really quickly and well packaged (thanks Graham).  The quality of the balloons I noticed straight away in comparrison to usual brand (Q),they feel stonger, even look stronger.   I'll be using Sempertex balloons from now on.
