Hopefully the day will come when somebody invents modelling balloons which will last for many months or perhaps not pop or go down.
If this was possible and I had the funds I would open my own Balloon Tussauds. I don't think I need to explain what kind of business it would be.

Balloon Artist Niko Fric, from Slovania has a method of preserving his balloon sculptures using gypsum. Google him, or look at his portfolio on Balloonhq to see some examples.
