I can stretch to a cool after party at my house for all who get involved, also the the national news in Ireland would love this sort of thing!!

LET'S MAKE A BIG BALLOON

Goodness, this is an undertaking, so firstly how many days would the build be?
Assuming everyone would need to book and pay for hotels?
What will the build be, are you designing everything and then people, make from your idea's/plans.

Rather than a massive big build why not try something on a smaller scale first and then go from there with a really big build.

You will learn so much from the smaller event that would still be big enough to get media attention.

What major event is coming up?
Can you make something to connect with this?

Thelma and I are going to re-make the spitfire plane as in November it's the 80th year celebration.

Okay, looking at a few big events coming up in the summer in Killarney. I am going to make a plan,  i think a smaller build like Graham said, may be a better option. But really need to know how many people will come on board with this, so if you are interested the post that you are.

The plan has started!!

Update--I am going to leave this open until next year, and bump it regularly!! With my house move coming up in a few months i will not have to time that's needed for this event. But i will put things into motion for summer 2017.

As said please post if your interested in getting involved for this project next year.

When I said a small build I was thinking maybe you, Michael and Victor.
Perhaps a life size horse and fence around grand national time,
Tennis player and net, Wimbledon time
A couple of footballers FA cup time, Guy Fawkes, Nove time.

Go with something that will take you 2/3 days to build and see how you get on making contacts with press for newspapers,
TV media etc, it's all a learning curve so start smaller and then go for a big event next time round if you still have the bug for it.
