Hi all

While watching the tail end of Britain's Got Talent at the weekend - err, well, my wife and children were watching, I just happened to be passing the TV - honest!   I noticed during the trailer for this coming Saturday's show two very quick, almost 'blipvert' type cuts of someone making balloon hats, and then what appeared to be 2 guys running around in a David Grist style wearable car.

It was all over very quickly, and I don't know if it's just stock footage rather then definitely what is going to be on this Saturday, but just wondered if anyone 'knows anything'.....  :D

I love BGT but probably for all the wrong reasons, the car looked like a black and white American'ish police car.
It was just a glimpse but will have to watch next week's show

The guys on Britains got talent are the Balloon Brothers From Newcastle!

They are two guys who work together and have just received Qualatex approved instructor status - they also won the competition last year for the front cover of Images magazine picture with their foil tapers topiaries..

Dominic was at the Spring fair on the Qualatex stand. Cant remember the name of the other one Sorry. keith or kevin I think!!

For those who have been around a while they remind me of a couple of young guys who used to go by the name of 'the Twisting Twins' Dee and Simon they where called... wonder what happened to them?

Last I heard Simon was an Estate Agent still in Ireland.. Dee White being the other half!.. xx

Ah!  Many thanks for the info, Pam.  I've not had the pleasure of meeting Dominic and Keith (although they've been at courses/conferences I've been to) but I know of them.

I'll be watching - hoping they do well and don't get gonged!

(Eh?  No gong?  See - told you I didn't watch it........)    ;)

It's a shame that when Stephen was selling the flower it had already popped  :(
The ending was nice and the heads were good, hopefully next time they will get on ITV 1.

Do you think we may well be the only ones who noticed that?

They are riding high at the moment according to face book and have put a video on you tube because those outside the country cant get ITV2

Well done, lads.  Nice of ITV2 to devote a reasonable amount of time to them and balloons in general too.

A really good, well thought out, fun act with an original ending.  Looking forward to seeing the next round (hopefully on ITV1 to the bigger audience they deserve).

Congratulations, and best of luck for the next round(s).

We watched it on Saturday and thought they did brilliantly, can't wait to see what they do in the next round - loved the heads at the end.

Not only had the flower popped that the presenter was trying to sell, but the balloon gun colour combination was the other way round to the original one . . .
