So got me a busking bag/apron thingy and I just wondered how you guys use yours. What do you put in it? Do you take some of everything or are there things you don't bother with? Currently in my balloon armoury I have have 321, both kinds, some 5 inch rounds and a vast assortment of 260s with a few 160s. I have a gig on Sunday with my band and thought it might be fun to take some balloons along to make when we do songs I don't play anything in!

It depends on what your planning on making. I use the smaller bag and have most available colours in 260's with one spindles for 160's. I don't make much stuff from 160's hence why there's only one spindle for it. For the side pockets I stitch the balloon to the outside of the pocket so I know what's inside the pocket otherwise I spent too long rummaging around each pocket to see what's in them.

There's lots of good vids on YouTube where twisters show what's in their bags and how they organise them, no two are ever the same.

Hi there,

You will probably have a light on your music stand, or the stage will be lit, but if I am working in a club with a band, disco, or any evening gig, the room tends to be dark, and the coloured lights tend to make it difficult to see the balloon colours well....blush, yellow look the same...blacks, browns and purples also.

I have a small but powerful LED lamp I clip on the side of my bag....makes things a lot easier :)
Kind regards
Kevin
