I was trying to make a quick car for line work, not been too successful at the moment......
I made this shape and liked, maybe I should just add wheels and see what it looks like.
This was the car I made a while back with 5 balloons so was looking for something quicker and easier but still captured the essence of the car.
Just added the wheels to the design to see what it looked like.
So trying just two balloons and that shape. It needed the triangle shape for the look of the front of the car.
Otherwise he would have crashed as unable to see the road ;D ;D
We then went to Three balloons. I liked the pinch twist above the wheels as it gives the impression of the wheel arch.
So the rear wheel looked fine but the front wheel stuck out too far for me really. So I tried it under the other pinch twist
and the wheel is really a little to far back in the car design I feel?
Another variation.
Not sure why I made like this as the car body definitely needs double bubbles for the sides on this size car.
Different wheels, I might re-visit this and add an extra bubble all around the body of the car.
Then it was trying with a 350 body for a chunkier look and feel.
Wheels need to be a little larger.
Trying some variations.
Adding 160 so it looks like a wheel arch so the tyre blends in more with the body.
BUT, its another balloon and we are trying to make this a quicker design.
This is a five balloon design.
Then it was back to variations on a theme with the 350 design.
I added the extra layer of bubbles to this design but I don't like the look really.
With different style wheels.
It was then back to the 350 balloons, the Red car I was trying to make to look like a Mini perhaps with the White top.
A friend said it looked like one of those children's plastic car with the high top, I can see what they mean.
It did when they mentioned it to me, he he
Still trying some variations out, front of car to long on first design. Then to short and stumpy on the second design.
All the cars up till now, this was taken on Friday last week, made many more since then.
Its just the front part of the car I'm attempting to get more car like and proportioned to the rest of the design.
Pinch twists, no pinch twists, decisions....decisions. With pinch twists it would be easy to add lights but I was
looking for a quicker line work design so no lights is the way to go for the time being.
Plus trying different style of wheels.
Cars all together, the Golden Rod car with the 160 over the top started me off on a different idea.
Starting to get the front shape of the car how I like, in both 260 and 350.
Now to work on proportions so the car flows.
Still coming together.
Added some lights front and back, it helps when there are a couple of pinch twists on the bonnet of the car.
Some slight variations to the front of the car.
Another variation.
Two new front section designs.
Both the gold cars are another different front section look.
You may have noticed I have made a few variations on a theme ;D ;D
Still looking at different shapes for the front of the car.
I wonder what look I will go with for the finished design?
The pinch twist was pushed under the two front bubbles for the other look of the front of the car.
These for a two balloon car have to be made from the Chrome balloons as they are 4/6 fingers longer.
All five fronts of the car are slightly different, now what one do I like the look of the most???
Its time to decide.....................
I thought I had finished with the cars but looks like I have not at the moment..............
I looked back at what were my favourites and the easier ones to make for the real world.
Another idea for the front section, does not show up to well made in Black.
The Blue car looks like it is smiling at me, he he or maybe frowning?
I thought the front of the Blue car looked to wide and Bulky so put 160 at top and 260 under neath.
A couple more.............. Just need to decide what ones to use for model of the month.
Some designs come together a little quicker than this one, I hope one of the designs will be useful for you
and if you'd like to help out and buy me a coffee then this is the link, it would be appreciated,

Thank You XXxx
I think this will be the final design, its pretty quick to make from three balloons and
a slightly simpler and easier front design to make for when in the real world.
The second picture is with it made from 350's and uses six balloons.
I tried to blend in the bonnet a little better on the 350 as there were a couple of empty spaces.
Not sure it worked well but I'm sure no one will mind....................too much ;D
I was not to happy with the look though and it was another balloon so just pushed the outer 260's closer together.
That's it for the car design, hope it is of use to a few and you do have go at making it ;D ;D
Would be nice if you could possibly buy me a coffee or two as it will go towards the cost of keeping the forum online..

Thank you, appreciated XXxx.
Another variations ;D ;D
Playing with the car design again,
need to get proportions better but I think I like the 160 look for the wheels better than the 350's.
I think I would make with pinch twist at the front only because its quicker and easier to make this
way but also you can customize each car with initials of the child's name on the pinch twist.
Trying some more variations, still only 5 balloons to make the design.
Still looks too chunky at the front to me.................
A couple more variations, I used 160 for the front section of the cars.
I moved the front wheel up slightly as the look on the previous cars was OK but there was something bothering me.
These look better in person than they do in the pictures, I get that sometimes, no idea why.
Another car idea.
Still trying to find a nice quick'ish car design I'm happy with.
Another Car, he he.
Still trying to get a car I like the shape of for line work.
The un-inflated was to try and add the shape of a door to the design.
Back to the drawing board, he he.
I liked the over elaborate car when it did not have wheels on.
All looked a little too much when I added the wheels and chrome rims.
I might try with basic wheels to see what that looks like.
The car with no wheels, made me smile.
The car was looking a little square so angled up the windscreen a little.
I then went for three completely different shape of cars.
And then another, it does slightly raise up at the front but that does not bother me on this style as it did in some of the others.
I'm looking to have the Car for model of the month next month and these two are my favourite at the moment.
Plus they are reasonably easy to make for the real world which is important.
This was my latest car design, I liked this one so much I have filmed it for the new forum.

Changing the design a little.
I then made another two but not overly keen on them but it might inspire
someone to try a different variation on a theme?
I was back on cars again this week. This is a quick 3 balloon car.
Still trying to get the proportions right.
This one looks better in real life than the picture. And with 260 small loops for the tyres/wheels.
Another car, checking the proportions.
