I thought I would start a new thread with details about the raffle we are holding next week at the two day memorial lecture for David Grist.
We plan on holding a raffle at the two day event with 5 great prizes to be won, you can purchase tickets via Paypal so no matter where in the world you are you have the opportunity of winning some of the excellent prizes.
1, Full set of David Grist DVD's
2, Beating book, The magic of balloons
3, Patrick van de Ven DVD
4, Mark Byrne DVD 2
5, Robbie Furman, Build a life size car DVD 7 (This DVD is not for sale anywhere and was only given to those attending his car workshops)
at least 50% of profits will go to the Grist family, I will be advertising this on facebook and we might need to send some of the prizes worldwide.
Tickets are £1 each or 10 tickets for £5.
Any money left over will go to the balloon artistes guild to improve the days, we have just purchased a new head mic to help at the days.
For those not attending the day these are your raffle numbers.
Julie Feist 246/255
Carol 256/275
Julie Hayward 276/285
Lisa 286/315
How do I purchase
If you email me I will send you over my PayPal address.
Mark Byrne has just donated Badder to the balloon Vol 3 to the raffle pot :D
So an extra prize to win.
Satchie R 321/335
Mark Byrne 336/435
Jonathan Harmer 436/465
Connie 466/515
Nina Dees 516/525
Millie Hilts 526/535
Are tickets available Tues/Weds?
Yes Andy tickets are available at the event, these are people that are out the country or not attending the days and I wanted it all to be above board so to speak.
So decided to post there numbered tickets so that people were assured it was a genuine event and raffle and not another so called scam.
I completely understand your reasoning Graham, just didnt want to miss out on some brilliant prizes
Dawn Dreppard 536/555
Judy Volkman 556/570
Tullnet 571/580
The raffle was drawn at 2pm today, we had 4 winners at the event and two international winners, will announce numbers and prizes tomorrow as just got home.
We raised £340 with £170 of tickets sold on the days and also £170 via PayPal before the event, I will send £250 to the Grist family.
There were four winners at the day and two International winners, just off to find the winners and post numbers etc.
So the winners were,
564 Judy Volkman, David Grist DVD Set (Internet)
969 Dan KJ Entertainments, Mark Byrne Badder to the Balloon Vol 3
770 Andy Campion, Mark Byrne DVD Bad to the Balloon Vol 2
729 Jo Burford, Beating book
673 Jay and Nici, Robbie Furman Car DVD
510 Connie, Patrick van de Ven DVD (Internet)
Many thanks to all who took the time to help support the event, it was appreciated.
Congratulations to all the winners!!
Yes, congratulations to the winners!! Great way to raise funds Graham :)
The DVD's are on the way to the US, Connie Iden-Monds won the Patrick van de Ven DVD and Judy Volkman the David Grist DVD set.
Lorinda from Continental sales in the US is shipping out the DVD set to Judy for me, I sent a set over a while ago to see if we could have someone in the US who could sell
the DVD's on behalf of the Grist family rather than me shipping all the time. I also looked into having the DVD's as a download but that was quite expensive to do as well.
Anyway back on track the winners should be receiving their prizes shortly and thanks again to everyone who helped raise funds for the Grist family.
Thank you for my great prize x Jay and Nici.

Wow look what I got in the post. :D So happy I will have to make some time over the next few weeks to watch them. Thanks to Mark for the prize and to Graham for holding the raffle and making everything possible. :D
It was nice of Mark to donate the prize and he also bought a lot of tickets as well to raise funds for the Grist family. Thanks Mark!
