Emergency rescue for rough hands.

If your hands are rough as they tend to be this time of year, here's a quick emergency rescue to exfoliate them.
Place about a dessert spoon of  sugar or salt in your palm then pour on a few drops of oil * enough to make a stiff paste. Massage into your hands well, then rinse. Result, lovely smooth hands!

OIL
I have tried  scented body oil (the nicest) baby oil,olive oil and even common cooking oil (unused!) with equally goods results though different aromas!
Anyone want to try engine oil? :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Following on from this most excellent tip, if you have very dirty hands, particularly oily, then a spoon full of sugar and a good squirt of washingup liquid then rub hands together and then wash undertap. It actually works better than the hand cleaner we use at work  :D
