Hi darren,
Yeah its a really nice pump, I cant give a full review of it just yet as I havnt had a balloon gig with it yet! It will get a little use tonight...

The 1st thing that you notice it the light weight of the pump, It wont add any weight at all to my current carry round set up.. regarding the weight tho, I think you will have to keep your foot on the pump as its that light when you lift to inflate you pick the pump up.. I didnt want to stand on it as ade has just broken his.. You can get repair bits so its not too much of a problem!

Congrats Lisa, I envy you, Jordan and the others...

In fact what is the difference between a Mini Mac Light and a Filbert pump? Except that a Filbert looks better...
Is Filbert better in usage, is much durable, ... ?

I believe that the mini-mac lite does not stand as tall as the Filbert pump.  I would check weight also.  It might be the same for the mini-mac lite, I know the Filbert weighs less than the regular mac-pump.

My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely.

My Filbert Pump is such a fab piece of kit! In case anyone hasn't realised, the collar around the top will hold a very nice display.

Since this photo was taken, I've got a lot more adventurous, and now include balloons around the base, as well as helicopters flying above, etc.

It's a nice display, is it a challenge finding the pump to use underneath though?

Not really, Graham. The balloons easily move out of the way to allow you to inflate more balloons. What I will do though, is to pull the nozzle up as far as it will go, so the balloons can be inflated without the need to push the nozzle right down to the base. Obviously, the more balloons you adorn the pump with, the more of a forest you have to get through to use the pump. This is not normally an issue for me - I tend to inflate a lot of balloons before my show starts, and then twist a dozen or so models to decorate the pump. These are then the give-aways during my show. Because I pre-inflate about 100 balloons, I don't actually inflate many balloons during my kids' parties at all. all my pre-inflated balloons have about 1/2" of tail, and I only offer fast twists like flowers, butterflies, swords, hats, magic wands, etc, which all work with a very small tail. For the few kids who ask for an animal or other balloon which needs a longer tail, it's no big deal to inflate the occasional balloon - either with the pump - or by mouth for added comedy, with a couple of the standard gags.
I rarely do line work, but when I do, I tend not to have the display.
