I did post ages ago a clip on this but I think this is a different one, you tube has a few more as well if you punch in "How balloons are made" to view.

Really interesting its a long process so the white powder inside balloons is talcum powder ?

What a long process. I thought the white stuff inside was talc but they apply in as a dip on the outside, so how does it get inside? They don't appear to turn it inside out on the film!

The white stuff I thought was corn starch, unless you are buying Sempertex from Columbia and then the white stuff might be something else  ;)  :D

The balloons are definitely not flipped because the nozzle/lip would be the opposite direction if it was flipped.  Honestly, I couldn't quite figure out how they got the balloons off the forms.  I watched several times trying to figure it out.

I would assume the twisting balloons would be made the same way, but I'd still like to see the process...and geos will always boggle my mind.

I assumed that is was French chalk inside.  Could it be a residue left from the washing process?

Fascinating! I have been dreaming of making my own balloons in all different shapes. This dream has officially been squashed :)

Funny, I was watching my QBN Basics DVD earlier and it showed one of those templates... Never seen them before!
