I'm off to Belarus again, buzzing, and looking forward to making those little orphanage kiddies smile with our twisting art.

Not sure if I'll get an internet connection while away so not expecting to get onto Balloon Chat for a little while . . . . . . how will I cope?

Thank you fr your comments. Here are some photos from the Minsk childrens Cancer hospital. Not a lot of balloon related but just to give you an idea of the work I do over there making those kids smile.

There was only one child I couldn't get to smile but he had just woken after an operation.

This little boy is only 2 months old. Already he has a cancer related illness. My wife sat holding him in her arms trying her best to hold back tears. Why is life so cruel???

This is Olga, (tallest girl) and her sister Yana. Olga is the first girl we hosted from Belarus when she was just 10 years old. We stayed with her family for one night while in Belarus. We're also bringing her back again this summer for a months recuperation.

Did you know that being in the UK for just one month, breathing fresh air and eating fresh food can prolong their lives by up to two years?

This is the father of another girl we hosted last year. I was asked to make hime a hat for his birthday.
