After an hour of twisting, my hands get quite sticky (presumably from the powder on the latex) so I wash them. However, I'm was wondering; if you are out somewhere where you can't wash up so easily, is this a problem as the day goes on?

Hello, Henry.

I carry a wet/damp facecloth with me, and a dry one. Seems to do the trick and doesn't take up much room.

I always carry a packet of those wet wipes. Also a little bottle of that anti bacterial waterless cleanser. If I have to repair a childs balloon, they are often sticky and you never know where they have been or what germs may be on them :o  :o  :o
The cleanser seems to moisturise my hands too(it says so on the bottle!) so I try to use it several times during the day regardless.

Like Dave, I always carry a damp facecloth, I keep it in a plastic cup that has a screw on lid. After an hour or more twisting, it feels so fresh to wipe not just your hands but face too, then start again. :)

So it seems the answer is Yes, you do NEED to wash them, right?

And Twistina, what is the name of that 'anti bacterial waterless cleanser' you use?

Thanks for the replies, all.

It is made by Cuticura and I believe I got it from Tesco's though I am sure it is widely available.( I think it is located by the liquid soaps)

Thank you ma'am. My daughter goes to Tescos most day, I'll ask her to pick up a sample for me to try.
