Hi all !!

I have made myself a new menu board, with new photos of my "out in the street" models, and thought you might like a look.

I used a clip together picture frame I got from B&Q and mounted the pictures under the perspex front, along with a notice of the price I charge. I find it works better for me having a set price, and all my models are the same price. I don't have any trouble getting £2.50 each, as two for a fiver sounds a good deal. In the bottom right hand corner is a plastic card holder I got from Staples.

I found the card holder works really well, as I get calls saying "I saw you working Saturday, but you were busy, so I just took a card. Are you free for ........"

On the back of the frame I bolted an old metal artists easle I found in my loft. I must have got it a hundred years ago, as I have no recolection where it came from !! It has telescopic legs, which when folded in lay flat behind the board.

It is light weight, and I can easily carry it under my arm, but the only problem is because it is light weight when set up, if it is a bit windy it needs fixing down, as a gust of wind can blow it over. If you are eagle eyed you may notice a corner chipped off. This happened Sunday when it blew down, & needs fixing tonight.

Hope this may give you a few ideas.

These are the photos of the models I make.  http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 971&type=3

I have a complete set of the 38 in an an album, and a set of what I have found to be the most popular on the board.
Kind regards
Kevin

You know you and the family are welcome any time you like !!

Lyn can tke the Grandchildren out crabbing round the harbour, and we can go out busking.

That way at the end of the night we will have cash and crabs......the usual result of a night out in Weymouth  :D  :D  :D
Kind regards

Love the new menu board!!!  It looks really fab!  The pictures are really clear and I bet the customers like the fact you charge the same price for all. I have 4 children and I would be happier with them having a balloon model if I knew the price up front.  The little pocket at the bottom for cards is great also.  I'd love to see a close up of your business card, but only if you have time to post it :)  It is all Very professional looking.  Thanks for sharing!

Take care

(I'm sure I didn't need to share that, actually!)
