For the past few weeks we have been having a new website built. The plan was to update the old one and freshen it up a little.
BUT, he he, there is always a but, the site had not been worked on for quite a few years and was
a little out dated and by adding new we might have caused the old site to crash.
So we went with building a new site from scratch, well not me but the technical people.
As I'm sure many of you have noticed I struggle with technology. It's not my strong point.
It's been about a month in the process and we are hoping to launch the new site possibly on the 1st November, fingers crossed.
I'm sure we will have a few gremlins and things that need a tweak or two but fingers crossed it will go as smoothly as it can.

Then after that they are going to have a look at the forum and see if we can update Balloon Chat
or if not we will add a new forum to the front and keep the old site achieved and searchable.
Now even I know updating Balloon Chat will be a challenge.

The website was meant to go live on the 30th Oct but there are still a few things to do and I would rather
it looking more finished. So we are holding off for a couple of weeks but even then might need more time.
It is getting there but all takes time. We are looking into adding a little balloon gallery,
as long as it does not slow down the load time as these days it all has to be super quick.
So having a quick look back over some designs I picked out 24..............but 22 are all from the past 18 months.

The new website is coming along and we are sorting out the gremlins and other things so that
hopefully the new site will be easier to use than the old site, fingers crossed.
We are hoping now to have it go live on Monday 22nd Nov
We are still working on the website, it's taken a little longer than hoped but we do want it to look nice for the launch.
Just a couple more things to do and a new banner design to work out and then it's time to let it go live......
Which is a bit of a worry, hopefully not too many gremlins in the works.
The new website is now live, it takes 24 hours for it to settle down and all the links to be working.
If you do look and a page is not working then please just hit the refresh button.
