Damm....just got sharpie over my leather seat but its dried....any tips on cleaning??

They do say on a balloon to get a permanent marker off put on a dry wipe marker and wipe off but not sure if this would work on leather, one way to find out though.
But if you do don't blame me!!

Methylated spirits usually works on sharpie and vivid, but not sure about using methys on a leather couch though.
