After last weeks big build with David that you can see here, https://www.balloonchat.co.uk/balloon-chit-chat/big-build-tuesday/
I had a go at making a more softer looking shoulder that would be more in keeping for a female design and also more flowing
for a male design as well. The shoulders do sometimes end up looking like the incredible hulk or Herman Munster'ish.

These are a few of the designs we have made over the years with a rather more squarish shoulder look.

This was the design we did the other week that got me wondering and working on some shoulders.

So this was version one, I started twisting and was not to sure of what the outcome would be.
We needed a 90 degree angle for the shoulder arm and this only gave me a possibly 30 degree angle.

It was then onto another version,
I tried to weave this into themselves but again this did not end up with a 90 degree shoulder/arm joint.
It was way off again and no better than version one.

Picture 6 was version three or four, I'm not sure I took pictures of every failure  ;D
They were getting better for the 90 degree angle but still not sitting right.

We are building a big Father Christmas next week and I remember I had played about with a shoulder idea so thought I'd look it up..... oops.

Realised I had not put the last two pictures up with the final ones that I thought had worked.
So here they are some 3 years later........ I know and I think it would work but have never tried on a proper design as yet.

Anyway, hope it does help a few out if you have to weave a large male body.
