Following a five hour twisting session last week I still have very sore muscles in my arms just below and just above the elbows. Does anybody suffer with similar problems and how do they overcome them?

Push ups after the event.

I don't get sore arms but occasionally I get cramp in one of my hands towards the end of a long day of twisting, I just need to do a quick stretch to sort it out.

The dreaded twisters claw I have suffered from this in the past, but have found that if I limber my hands up to start with it helps.

I start by just rubbing my hands together and giving them a good stretch then I make a simple sculpture really slowly and I have found when I do this I don't have the problems.

as to the sore arms I have always had hobby's (rock climbing, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing)  that have meant that I have fairly strong arms, so fortunately not suffered.

The Cramp is not too much of a problem, only after a 5th or 6th hour of working and it can easily be sorted in just a few moments, I never thought of rock climbing, I used to rock climb too so maybe that is why I don't get sore arms,

Helpful balloon tip of the day, take up rock climbing. :)
