Sometimes when I inflate a 260 on my mac pump I can hear the static going up the balloon as its going up. I either go slow and it's ok or if I carry on it pops. Anyone know why this happens? Is it something I'm wearing?

Thanks

Chris

I would expect it's just the static from the day building up, sometimes I touch people when handing over the models and I give them an electric shock.

Wearing crocs and pumping latex is a recipe for static to challenge Reals

it could be cheap carpet you are standing on... especially if you are wearing trainers..

make sure you have proper shoes on

I have never had that happen to me, but when I work, unless it is a "walkabout" Job I am always sitting down at my pump (a macpump)

would that make a difference??????
Kind regards
Kevin
