They look like flowers to me   and are six petal  

If these are your first trys, that is amazing!  I had destroyed balloons all over the place for days until I got it lol.

YouTube is amazing for pointing you in the right direction when I say first attempt, it was actually my third as I popped the others due to not having let enough air out first :/
