Graham Lee

I started the forum with one of the intention's of trying to help people improve thier balloon modelling skills and our artform.
I would like to attempt to help Daniel as well although this may be a challenge too far but here goes, Daniel the challenge for you is to make any five models from the model of the month section, your choice and to post them on the forum. They should look to be of a certain standard of someone that has been modelling for 10 years, I will leave it to the forum members to decide if you have won the challenge and if so I will send you 5 of my DVD's, again any 5 of your choice.

So Daniel are you up for the challenge!

Yes for as long as you remove Martin's comments about me ' making an abusive phone call to him ' which I didn't do. You are welcome to remove my comment about him being abusive to me over the phone if you agree to remove his post.

I will add my collection of Hi-De-Hi DVDs, all three series. Plenty of children's entertainer tips in there especially if Punch and Judy is your thing.

I think that is a superb prize, danieltwist, that any serious balloon modeller would give their left arm for (apart from the fact it could make twisting a bit tricky  ;) ) except I couldn't help but notice you seem to have deflected away from this a little by putting a condition on your attempt...

I am quite sure this below is not your biggest seller nor your fanciest model, but with 9 years/10 years experience (actually equating to more than some with 30 years, in your own words) do you consider this video is aimed at someone between 4 and 6 years experience, would you say?  I'm just wondering if the fact the model has been made and the balloon 'untwisted' before you started filming means it's one of the trickier ones that you wanted to get right?  And would you consider videos like this to be the cause of your perceived decline in DVD sales as mentioned in another thread?

I never saw the balloon untwist and even if it did, so what. We all make mistakes.

And there is a decline in DVD sales. How can there not be. If it weren't for video sharing sites more DVDs would be sold. Of course they would be. That's common sense but that is no surprise coming from someone like you.

I can't be bother anymore. I am not going to take part in the challenge because I do not wish to waste my balloons on this forum which has seen better days

Actually they wouldn't give their left arm (or right arm) unless they can balloon model with just the one hand.

Yes you can. Why not take my place? I have no intention of taking part in such a pointless task. I'm not wasting my time and money on it. You can if you have nothing better to do.

If you think that it would be to expensive to take part in the challenge i don 't  mind posting the required balloons to you. But as my first name unfortunately is Daniel. Can I take your place.

The maths is easy... one bag of balloons £4 with a return of £175 worth of DVDs... in the words of a meerkat... SIMPLES!

I went to see a friend lecture tonight in Cambridge and was reading the forum in McDonalds while getting a burger and this post from Nippy had me rolling about with laughter and tears rolling down my face and a few people looking at me, it was just so funny  :D  :D
