Thanks Cathy
It was quite a while ago that I did that workshop.  I had done the odd workshop for some magic societies fairly local to me before and also attended some as a guest.  I realised the models that excited the attendees the most were the quick easy ones.   They were very appreciative of the skill needed to make some of the nicer models but the overriding comment was "It was lovely stuff but it is no good to me, I want to see something I can actually make and use"  So I looked at some of my models from a new angle and decided to get them down to as few balloons and twists as possible without losing the essence of the model.  That is how I ended up producing the "Two and a Bit" cd.   It is not a show case cd of my designs, it is a compilation of practical designs.  I have been working on other material since then and keep missing my own deadlines.  I wanted to produce a Halloween cd but missed the right time to put that out so went on to do a Christmas cd and missed that too.  So I took a step back and decided to do a "Festival" cd.  This will have Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Weddings, etc etc.  To be totally honest with everyone, from my point of view it is much better to make this cd because it will have year round appeal and so will have more chance of selling year round instead of just at one time of the year.  However due to the range of occasions I have to decide whether to make it a double cd or have it in two halves because there is too much for one cd.  Also I am debating whether to  make it just a cd with my written and photographic instructions or whether I should incorporate a mix of dvd instructions with the written instructions so you can follow with the written instructions and watch it being made too.  The problem with this is that it bumps the price up.  The price seems to be a big thing to everyone.  I worked out that each model costs approximately 70 pence to buy at the price I charge just now. That will go up if I do it with dvd footage so it is something I have to consider. Anyway I have a number of cds partly completed including a cd on birds so at least I should be able to finish something soon.

If anyone wants me to do a workshop in their area I am gagging to do them.   I really enjoy doing them!!!!!!
