Hi all, Just one thing about paypal users...

I have recently got an email from paypal about an update that they were doing..

Just wondering if all the paypal users got the same email to make sure that it's not a scam!!

Thanks!!

Hi Kenny,
We got one dated the 8th July, as long as your full registered name is in the subject header then it is a bona fide Paypal. According to my boss anyway ;)

Nope, I reckon they are all a scam. I always delete them, my account is still working.

I use Paypal all the time and never got one.  I think it would be a scam too sorry.

Guess I'm the odd one out then :(  all I can say is that KJ was contacted by Paypal by phone about a suspected hacking of her account, Whilst she was sorting this out with them she asked about the e-mail received and was told that they do send them out. But you don't have to do anything, it's just telling you about an update, that has or is going to happen whether you answer or not.

Thanks all.

I will forward the email to paypal and see what happens.

That is what I Do!...Whenever I get "fishy" emails from PayPal, I send them to PayPal and ask if it is legit. They usually get back with me in a timely manner.
