I have been making my Lorax both ways.   Which one is better.  Sorry the over-all photography is not good.

I think both of them look great but I have a preference for the second one.

I would go with Ade on that.

The character is not really that well known here, so I googled the image, and the second one looks closer to how the character looks facially, particularly the eyes and eyebrows.

I think I would make the legs a bit shorter as well
