At the third time of asking the world record was awarded to Caroline (Bubbly Maths) and the gang. I was one of the gang.

I just looked up Fractal,

fractal is a natural phenomenon or a mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern that displays at every scale. If the replication is exactly the same at every scale,
it is called a self-similar pattern. An example of this is the Menger Sponge. Fractals can also be nearly the same at different levels.

OR

A fractal is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales.
They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion

I did have a look on the Guinness website but could only find records based on speed or length.

Great achievement though.

How long did it take you all?

Caroline having fun.
The dog that Steve is holding is the one that has to be made, the record in front of you is 6 seconds and for behind your back just over 4 seconds.
I think we may attempt this at the Leeds Care & Share day.

It all started to get measured, in the previous posts it was only put into place to double check all was OK before the official measuring took place.
Caroline filmed them every step of the way.

And all fitted together for the final measure from Guinness. The Fracton was all fitted together from the small triangular shape in the first picture.

If anyone wanted to attempt the balloon dog world record then this is the dog that has to be made, either in front of you or behind.
The world record being confirmed from the head man at Guinness.

A few pictures from today's little workshop, David and Michael have a very nice way with them when showing the sculptures and demonstrating.
Caroline while giving her talk is very enthusiastic about magical maths and making it fun with balloons, very infectious.
As she was standing next to me when she gave the talk I did not get any pictures at that point.

The flower pot was in the square where I had a coffee before the workshop.

The shrunken dress was from a few months back, it's ok for a leg warmer now.
