Wrestling with Agates

Hi all
I jst spent a considerable amount of time (and energy) wrestling to put a sidewall bubble in an Agate, and still no bubble.   Does anyone have any hints on how to make it easier (apart from grow bigger hands!!

Use a raisins ?

and if a raisin isn't big enough you can use one of the compressed paper balls (some times used as large pea shooter type balls).
When it comes to the day I arive at the pearly gates I hope to slide in sideways saying to st Peter WOW!!! what a ride.

Thanks, I did end up using a raisin.  I had this much trouble when I first did a sidewall bubble in a 646, but got the hang of it.  Just didn't want to be defeated by an agate  :roll:

Tough balloons like agates are also easier to work with if fully inflated and then fully deflated then inflate to the required size.

Obviously, don't do this with balloons that are not very tough...
