Hi I have job coming up in July for a YR6 leavers ball, the theme is masquerade ball, was going for a gold and black colour scheme.  Any ideas would be gratefully received, budget is very small though.

Hi pov865
and welcome to the forum. I hope you will get as much out of it as we all do.

can I suggest that you introduce yourself, give us a little background about yourself and maybe give us some indications of your skill level and what you have come up with yourself, as you are likely to get a lot better response.

To get you started I have attached a picture of a mask arch I have previously made that is very affective but relatively cheap to create.

I always love seeing these and want to have a go. How do you hold them together?

Hi Roger, thank you for your quick reply, and fab mask idea.

I have been balloon decorating for about 8 months now, and have just started a bit of balloon modelling (my kids are loving my practice sessions :D ) examples of what i can do are on my facebook page "above & beyond balloons".  I haven't got round to a website yet still in the early days of building a portfolio but even with the economic climate the way it is I seem to have been busy just through word of mouth, but its still early days.

Any advise and tips are warmly welcomed.

Hook and loop aka Velcro, It works better than just sticking them together as it allows a little movement. I was shown how to join them together by my idle of balloon decoration Chris Horne (Anagram). If you get the chance to go on a course by Chris go he is amassing.
