I have been asked to decorate a marquee and I would like to do a 5inch balloon spiral  swag from the the centre out to the sides. The Marquee is 9m by 3m and the height is 4m the poles to where i'm going to are 2.5m So what I need to know is a how many balloons will I need and b how much should I charge?

I've seen other people going for £15 a meter, does that sould about right?

I hate maths and this involves alot of it!

Hi
If you tell me the height by the width in feet, that you want each of the swags to be I will tell you how many balloons.

As to price as has been said many times you need to decide what is right for you. We don't know how long it will take you how much you want per hour how much you pay for balloons etc.

Roger.
When it comes to the day I arive at the pearly gates I hope to slide in sideways saying to st Peter WOW!!! what a ride.

spiral garland charts are in your Nabas level 1 book - you need to work out the length you need and what size you are inflating the balloons to.

I usually inflate them to 4" - if you are not too sure of your calculations use a piece of ribbon to measure then measure the ribbon. Dont forget you want it to swag not be tight to the ceiling.
Chart will tell you how many balloons you need per foot.
