When designing balloon decor and incorporating flowers, do you ever use real flowers?

What sort of price would you normally pay for silk flowers etc., I can't seem to find a source anywhere for a good price and wondered if real flowers would look OK and last as at the moment, they seem to be a much cheaper option if they worked.

I was in a BK shop, I think they have taken over a lot of the woolies sites and they had some excellent imitation flowers and a very good selection

Retail see if you have a local Hobbycraft store they have a big selection. also check out your local £ shops  - I think the local one that has them here is poundstretcher.

wholesale - there is one called Country Baskets and most of your local flower wholesalers will sell silks - we have a company called Greetings wholesale but think it maybe independant and another called Excelsior all have websites

otherwise google silk flowers wholesale plymouth & see what comes up - we also have card wholesalers selling silk flowers - its a matter of finding them.

But we have used both - real dont last long because you cannot give them water unless you can use an oasis in the design

Dunelm Mill do a good selection of artificial flowers too. Or if you really want to impress,  how about making some of my "Ballooms"?  ;)
