Is anyone intending to do to the NABAS Festival of Balloon Art on the 16th / 17th October?

It sounds really good, I'm just a bit disappointed they've held it on a weekend. Surely they must realise that the professional decorators / entertainers all work on a weekend. For me to go, I'll loose out on at least £680 of weekend work before I even buy the entry ticket. Why don't they hold these events during the week?

If they hold them in the week - shops, retailers and wholesalers complain, so it will always upset some.  I also have the facepainitng convention the week before so could loose 2 weekends!!! Luckily Paul is notinterested in that one.

The program of classes that goes on, on the Sunday should help, I find they are always so informative and fun.

I'll be going along as well and maybe holding a few classes/lectures during the weekend as well,
perhaps we could turn it into a good old party weekend  

So how about one year having it at the weekend and then the next year during the week, those with shops can get cover in but us entertainers can only book ourselves out,
just a thought but I reckon a good one.

I have it in the diary to go too!  There is already the start of a good table for the evening then!

That's it, cheque is in the envelope ready to post. I'm going to be there for both days and looking forward to it.
