Hi There, just thought I would post this here.
I am thinking about getting a precision air machine but I am sure you will understand, it is a considerable investment at £1000 new.
If anyone would consider selling one they have second had for a reasonable price please get in touch and we could both be made happy.
Thanks for your time,
Ali.

I was looking for about 18 months but to no avail so ended up buying a new machine,   they are great,  blowing up 200 odd 5" by hand used to take me a good hour,  last weekend it took me about 20 odd mins -   love my new Percy ( well they have to have a name ??  )

Hi Ali,  you could be lucky,  there are other machines that are similar but I did look in into fully before I bought Percy - they are an investment for the balloon decor I do - no more sizing with the cardboard templates.

Keep looking and hope you manage to find something suitable for your use.

Good luck -  Debbie x

Oh Aly; you know how good they are and watched me use mine at the training day.

Maybe a chat with Nabas to see if they can do a bring and buy section at the show in October where balloon people with equipment they no longer use can come and offer it for sale... know it would have to be on seller and buyer doing business so no come backs to association.

Aaaah... It's just so tempting :)

I have had search alerts set up in all the usual places to try and bag a used Precision ever since I posted of my desire for one earlier in the year. But nothing...

I did manage to pick up the Zibi that auto sizes both air and helium but whilst it useful for helium it is random to say the least using air.

Maybe if we both close our eyes and hold out our £1000s together Ali?

I am glad you said that Martin since I had considered getting one of the Zibi's mind you I was looking at the one that only air inflates rather than helium too but suspect they may be as unreliable as the one you have.  Will have to start saving for a precision air

I was just having a nose at the qualatex catalogue to see what price I would pay for these and can see the duplicator 2 and precision air, so what is the difference with these two machines, apart from about £400.

The duplicator would need a compressor whereas the precision air draws the air in from around it so is an all in one unit.

Dulpicator 2 only inflates one balloon Graham where as the precision Air inflates 2 the same size at one time.

Just to clarify though the if you are thinking of buying the precision air and use a lot of rouse matrix - the sizes it inflates to I am told are not correct for the rouse system they are a smidgin out but it means its not the right size for the hole. so you have to size up and reduce.

Another good machine to look at is the Air force 4 it inflates quickly up to 4 balloons at one time (2 people needed obviously)  still need to size but at less than £300 could help some

All good advise Pam.  I already have the air force 4 having picked this up cheap on my travels already!  Its a good machine but on mine at least, it does not inflate the air at the same speed when you are filling 2 balloons at once. I do not think it should be that random and I was a little disappointed.

Think I will have to cough up the whole amount for a new precision air at some point but you can only justify such expense as you earn it. Perhaps by the end of the year.
