This is Scott Tripp's first video broadcast which he is hoping to air weekly, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtKCOypI ... e=youtu.be (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtKCOypIBIc&feature=youtu.be)
It's great and I can imagine even that short show took a lot of time to make. I hope Scott is able to continue with his project.
I just watched it and it's great! If you've ever read Scott's Magazine, Latex Soup, it's a bit like a live version of that. Some reviews, news, instructions. A pleasant dose of balloon goodness! I believe Scott also has some videos for sale, but I haven't seen them yet. Anyone care to do a review (I'm looking at you, Darren!)
Wow, thanks for the kind words. Honestly, it's an embarrassing effort- I had half a day off, so I was determined to film and edit the episode before I had to leave to pick my daughter up from school. Which meant that segments were rushed, and I nearly completely flubbed the flamingo design (even calling it a penguin at one point?!?). The flamingo should have a tighter body, longer legs, and a prominent flamingo tail! But the point was, I had to create a starting point. I decided that if I didn't do something now, I'd never get around to doing it.
That being said, I'm planning out improvements for the second episode (May 11). I'm also open to suggestions and submissions. Anyone want to do a segment? Regular segment or guest spot?
I made a couple of variations to Scott's flamingo that he put on his balloon blast video. Both were made with just two balloons.
Scott has posted episode 2 of the Balloon Blast show, and he shares a really amazing and simple balloon magic trick that I plan to use at my restaurants this week. Check it out, it's free!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSAfMaJL ... e=youtu.be (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSAfMaJLiK0&feature=youtu.be)
This is what the flamingo should have looked like. I was a bit scattered and uncomfortable in front of the camera, and did a bit of a lousy job. Yeesh.
Just flipped through some of your videos Scott and while still a bit rough they show enormous promise and I look forward to seeing more. Take a look at the format of Reel Magic Magazine. Their structure may intrest you.
I was also delighted to see your turtle. I thought I was the only one to use a water bomb as a shell. I don't currently use them (2 bad batches in a row, sorry but its new design time) but when I did I thought I must have been the only guy in the world. They also make fantastic pineapples if you stuff a yellow into them.
Keep up the swell work.
Dylan
Episode Three has been posted at: http://youtu.be/RtOXq35CAc4 (http://youtu.be/RtOXq35CAc4)
Hi Scott - great videos so far. I am really enjoying them.
Episode FOUR of the Balloon Blast Show by Scott Tripp is out!
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypJewF46cLE&feature=plcp
Some great stuff in this - including a simple hat that will make people go wow!
Scott - I'm really enjoying your video's, I know it takes some effort. And just to let you know its well worth it and much appreciated.
So the latest Balloon Blast video is here...
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFMM8MZBHL0&feature=youtu.be
Episode 6 is a long one 29 minutes, but i found it very interesting and well worth a look. Scott takes us out on his busy busy week, with a variety of shows at various venues.
And for those of you wondering where Episode 5 is, here is Scott's answer from the same question asked on Face Book.
"Instead of playing a game of Infinite Catch-Up, I'm moving forward and trying to stay current, but leaving the spot for episode 5 blank for the time being. I'm hoping to get ahead eventually, and go back and fill in episode 5. The Great Computer Meltdown of '12 really monkeywrenched the works..." Scott Tripp
Thanks Scott, I'm loving the videos.
:)
Episode 7 has just been released...
http://youtu.be/7eekJo3a6HU (http://youtu.be/7eekJo3a6HU)
Scott's videos are getting better and better. There is a fantastic variation of the magic colouring book routine using balloon models and there is a beginner's segment that features Scott's daughter which I found enchanting and amusing.
Please support Scott's project by taking a look.
Cheers
They just keep getting better. Seeing Scott go through his week doing library shows (episode 6) was really interesting. And the Balloon Animal book is great. Scott showed me that once (I can't remember when) and I was totally fooled. I thought the trick was over after the balloons were colored in, then he popped all the balloons! Awesome!
Episode 8 is now here!
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P6SaEPw9RQ&feature=g-all-u
Some interesting stuff!
Go take a look - its FREE!
Thanks once again to Scott Tripp for making these infotainment videos! They are AWESOME!
Episode #10 has just been posted. Check it out at: http://youtu.be/DdwjWLNafsI (http://youtu.be/DdwjWLNafsI)
Episode #11 has been mostly filmed as well, so look for that to drop sometime after the weekend.
Thanks to everyone for their help and support!
Thanks for these Balloon Blast episodes, Scott. They are great!
Episode 11 is here!

Its totally awesome! Thank you Scott Tripp!

The Lost episode No. 5 is here from June 1st.
This one has the great double stuffed turtle, a lovely two balloon guitar and some entertaining footage too.

And swiftly onto...The Balloon Blast Video Show! Episode 20, September 14, 2012
Here is today's episode featuring the Zombie print by Buster Balloon.
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDCuUaHRVCo&feature=g-all-u
In this episode over 25 balloon sculptures using the Zombie print. From the simple to the simply gruesome! :twisted:
I'm loving the Balloon Blast show! A lot of neat ideas.
Scott....I'm really looking forward to your classes at Twist and Shout.
Thanks,
Michael
Hi Scott.....I'm a new member here and I have been watching your balloon videos on You Tube since the very first one! They are great and very informative! Thanks for taking the time to put these together for us. It's great to meet you here on the Forum! Keep up the good work for us. I suscribed to your channel several months ago. Thanks again.........Suzon
Thanks to everyone for the kind words! We're slowly coming out of our Ugly Duckling stage- Some of the early episodes are painful to watch now. That's a sign of improvement, I guess. Sam just bought a better camera, we're looking at investing in better microphones, and we have a lot more in store. Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you guys enjoy it!
Another fantastic episode of Balloon Blast Video Show with Scott and Sam
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ljqcmdr-wlk&feature=g-all-u
If you don't subscribe on Youtube - Why not? its F R E E !
"In Episode 21 of The Balloon Blast Video Show, we talk. A lot. First about apple, bee, and 321 balloons, then about hats, costuming, and character. Sam also shows you how to make a quick rocket launcher in his ongoing Balloon Weapons series."
Plus there is a great short balloon animation at the very end, so hang in there!
Thank you Scott and Sam - an other great episode! :D
I'm glad you all like our show! As Scott will tell you, its definitely a labor of love for the art of balloons. We have big plans for future episodes and we are open to suggestions on what you all would like to see. I personally enjoy Scott's knowledge of balloon twisting history.
Hey Sam and Scott, I am a big fan of your show as well, on one of your episodes Sam was twisting next to a awesome looking balloon station with a Mac pump light in the middle of it. If it is yours Sam do you think we could get a better look at it in a future episode, and possibly some tips on building the ultimate ballooning station!
Cheers
Nick
ITS OUT!
The new episode is here.
There is a lo t of chat about colours and a new guest spot.
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtWK9-hi9S8&feature=g-u-u

If you haven't subscribed - why not?
Its free.
This week there is no description available for me to cut and paste, so you just have to watch it! :D
With the editing, exporting, and uploading times, sometimes I have to leave the house while the video is still uploading, and fill in the description later. Sometimes I catch it before it goes live, sometimes not...
Ahh ha that would explain it Scott!
But here is the next episode - Halloween Spesh Part One.
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reCX48_KpPU&feature=g-u-u
:)
Episode 28!
So here it is - //http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNGkSbx3gto&feature=g-u-u
The competition continues with some new points to be earned. I have sent in a little video from the Ed Chee day in Surrey. Thank you to all those there who helped! And there is some other cool balloon stuff too!
:)
Just watched the latest edition with a few local UK balloon artistes smiling away :)
I loved this episode! Well, they are all great, but it was really nice to see the folks from the UK, and the chalenges sound fantastic. I vote we start a new thread just for the Balloon Blast challenges (if it hasn't been done already).
Well well, its that time of the week when there is a new episode of THE BALLOON BLAST VIDEO SHOW!
//https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_VNu4j-gJ8&feature=g-u-u
Another fab episode featuring more balloon challenges to get more points towards cool prizes (I have no idea what they are!). Also more Scraps advice, plus Sam's balloon rig set up, very interesting! AND much much more!
Hey - have you subscribed yet? Its free! And why not spread the word too let your family subscribe, your neighbour, your pet, your neighbours pet, your second cousin twice removed who now lives in Australia on a dingo farm in the outback with internet on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. They should all subscribe.
Did I say its free to subscribe?
(I have a really sore throat, so i think my fingers are doing the talking).
That is all.
I don't know when the video challenge contest is ending...anyone who does?
Submit video items to balloonblastvideoshow@gmail.com
Wow, that's thorough!
The contest continues for a while, although we don't plan on adding any challenges in next episode. Giving everyone a chance to catch up! We're planning on keeping it open at least until November 30.
Prizes and trophy have been ordered, waiting until they are physically in hand before announcing.
Here is this weeks episode.

Episode 30!
I'm not telling whats on this episode - just watch it!
:D
Hey danny, just a quick question do you have to pay to subscribe to balloon blast show xx
No it is free, I have watched a few episodes.
As always, Balloon Blast is free to the general public as well as the ballooning public! I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoy putting this together to share with you all! The scavenger hunt challenge prize dvds have been ordered and shipped and as soon as I get em, I'll let you all know what they are!
I would just like to take a moment to thank Scott and Sam. The Balloon Blast videos are always fun and informative! I know they take a lot of effort to make and I'm loving them!!
DVD prizes have arrived! The Scavenger Hunt winner will receive Bad to the Balloon Volumes 1 and 2! Send in those entries! Deadline is THIS SATURDAY!
So here is this weeks episode....
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP2aygX2mNQ&feature=g-u
"Episode 31 of The Balloon Blast Video Show is a delicious stew made of many quality balloon ingredients. We begin with a vintage 2006 Betallatex stock, and sprinkle in some aged Qualatex spices. Then, in a well-oiled wok, we stirfry together some assorted leftovers, and serve with a side order of passive-aggressive balloon garnish. After the meal is over, there is light banter over coffee and dessert."
Thank you Scott & Sam - great work as usual!
:D
Great segment! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
The Balloon Blast Video Show Scavenger Hunt is closed! We have a winner!
...But you'll have to tune in Friday to find out who it is!
(evil chuckle)
Quote from: "Scott Tripp"The Balloon Blast Video Show Scavenger Hunt is closed! We have a winner!

Not nice....that's all I'm going to say. :)
All I have to say is that you didn't have to drink THAT much Kool-Aid from the balloons... The look on your face from the citric acid was priceless!
Let me just say that getting the ratio of Kool-aid to sugar with just the right amount of water was difficult. I thought I put a lot of sugar in the Kool-aid. I thought wrong BOTH times!
Another quick addendum...Kool-aid without enough sugar is really gross.
Lynnae - you didn't do that one did you!! Good on you for entering in!
Lisa
Lisa, I really did...not once, but twice! Crazy reigns supreme in my house! :)
I don't want to spoil anything, but for her efforts, Lynnae ended up in the top three! Not bad, considering the competition!
Look for the full wrap-up episode to be posted today!
Oh no - Scott, you've spoilt it now!!! ;)
Oh, you are KILLING me. Just post it already! :)
Here it is....
Episode 32
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpItkYZu1cs&feature=g-high-u
"Episode 32 of The Balloon Blast Video Show is our big Scavenger Hunt wrap-up! We look at the videos and photos sent in by our contestants, and finally reveal our big winner!"
Congratulations to all the entries and to Scott and Sam for another great episode. Keep watching after the credits...!
The after-credit bit only proves I have too many toys...
Another great episode....and congratulations to Lynnae :D
Yes I just watched it as well, most enjoyable :) ;)
Lynnae? Need you to contact me so I can send you your prizes! I didn't want to spoil the surprise, hope you've seen the episode by now!
Hi Scott,
I sent you an email yesterday. Did you get it? I'll resend if not. Sorry I was a bit slow to respond. I've been out of town and only had limited access to email.
I'm off to do the happy dance!
Yup - its Friday so it must mean....
A new episode of The Balloon Blast Video Show!
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSd6XJUCUxI
"Episode 33 of The Balloon Blast Video Show was filmed during a hectic week- Sam and I just finished filming our latest balloon project, TWELVE, which took several long days of filming and planning. We were both kind of spent from this project, and there wasn't much time left, but we managed to pull together a full episode, and another long one at that. Nearly reaching the 20-minute mark yet again, this episode features a great reindeer hat design from Sam, an encore installment of Scraps 'n' Crap from Scott, and an odd balloon experiment from the both of us. Hope you enjoy!
*** UPDATE! *** The Balloon Blast Video Show has a new Facebook page. Be sure to stop by at www.facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow (http://www.facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow) and check in!
AND.... On 12/12/12 the latest project from Balloon Blast went on sale- TWELVE is a $12 instructional DVD teaching 12 balloon sculptures. Limited to only 144 copies (12x12), it won't be around for long, so reserve yours today! Go to the Balloon Blast facebook page for details!"
Just ordered my copy and I have no idea what is on the DVD, still it's nice to support those helping others in this wonderful balloon world of ours.
Just as I was about to give up on Toffee, Sam comes up with a use for them. Well played, Sam, well played.
Oh there are so many more uses for toffee! I live and work near a large hispanic community. Between the princesses and Dora (still haven't developed one of her that I really like yet) and balloonicature's and elf ears at Christmas time, I use alot of the toffee.
The Christmas Episode is HERE! :D
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tarrmpTWxk
"This week's episode of The Balloon Blast Video Show is brought to you by LaRocks Fun & Magic Outlet. Check them out at LaRocks.com!
In this week's installment, Sam shows us four different Christmas hat designs, Scott does a quick review of Matt Falloon's new PDF balloon instructions, and some other stuff probably happens as well.
We also have a few copies of the TWELVE Dvd project still available. Twelve balloon designs, almost two hours of instruction, for just $12 (+$3 shipping....) Contact us at www.facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow (http://www.facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow)"
Apparently I did the Mayan Interpretations for this episode. I may have made a mistake on one of them. Still - the Mayan chocolate is tasty!
;)
I just received my DVD "Twelve" from Scott Tripp. Its very good Twelve balloon designs, almost two hours of instruction- a mixture of easy to advanced sculptures my favourite being the Lil Red Dragon.
I think Nippy has ordered one so I suspect a review will be forthcoming soon (ish).
You can get them for $12 (US) plus shipping charges from Scott Tripp at BalloonBlastVideoShow@gmail.com to order or for more info.
I do not have any financial or any other gain from promoting this DVD. There are just some very usable "in the real world" balloon sculptures are fun.
Thanks Scott!
Danny
Danny,
For $12 I would buy this even if it was a load of old rubbish just to support Scott. It's great that there is some good stuff on there and yes, a review will come as soon as my one arrives.
Cheers
Yes I ordered this a while back as well, mainly to help support Scott and Sam, not sure if they have posted it or if I am picking it up at Twist and Shout.
Hello there!
Yours went out a while ago, you should have it today (if not already)!
Thanks for the support!
My one arrived today... had a quick scan through and it looks excellent and incredible value for money. If you haven't purchased it already I would buy it whilst you can!
So here is the last one EVER (this year!).
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pslwjJZK2WY
Episode 35 with a whole bunch of different stuff.
"The last Balloon Blast of the year has been a beast. Full day of filming, goofing off, filming more, passing editing duties back and forth, and more goofing off. What we wound up with was a big mess of footage that we now present to you- nearly a half hour of balloonery and nonsense.
Visit us on facebook at www.Facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow (http://www.facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow)
Send in your questions for the Latexperts at BalloonBlastVideoShow@gmail.com
And send in your stories of balloon hoarding and collecting! I can't be the only one...
Be sure to subscribe for future episodes. New changes coming for the new year! Stay tuned!"
Happy New Year Scott & Sam - looking forward to seeing you at Twist & Shout 2013!
Not only did my DVD arrive today but two arrived, I was not sure what the postal rate would be to the UK so sent extra and Scott and Sam were kind enough to send me an extra copy.
Scott also sent a nice little note :D
So I have a DVD for a competition that maybe we will hold later in the year once we get the Buster Balloon STAR PRIZE competition out of the way.
Phew! I was starting to get a bit worried about your copy! Danny Schlesinger and Nippy got their copy so quickly, I'm not sure what the holdup was with yours! Did you leave the mailman a tip this Christmas..?
Hope you enjoy, and find something useful on the DVD. And thanks for all the things you do, in this forum and elsewhere!
Well I sat and watched some of the DVD today, made me smile and chuckle. My grandson Zakh was about and I had just watched the opening segment with the song about 12.
After I said shall we watch some more and he went off on one about all it talks about is 12, I don't understand. It was quite funny but I think you needed to be here.
I waited till he went home and have now watched up to the Scooter.
My variation on Scott's tank, got me thinking which is always a good thing. The first one was colours to hand, although a pink tank may be a good dilema to give a boy who wants the tank,
you can have one but it has to be PINK! :)
I tried a small fold twist for the tread over the corner pinch twists but did not like the look.
On the second one did seperate bubbles going forward of the pinch twists for the tread, this is quicker to make in the real world than the last picture and the tread will stay on.
On the last picture the tread bubbles are just looped over both pinch twists so a pressure fit, little fingers would pull these off but I think the look is better.
I prefer the overall look of the last tank, so far. Maybe someone will post another variation?
I have not looked at the rest of the DVD yet and you can see the original tank that Scott made once Darren finishes his review. For $12 I would say buy this now, it is a bargain and well worth the investment and will help to keep the balloon blast video show on air. All the tanks together. I will resist saying Tanks for the model Scott, oops I couldn't :D
Here is the original - review coming soon...

Matt Falloon submitted a terrific segment, and William Beatty asked a great question for "Ask the Latexperts". We also talk a bit about our week, and the cool stuff you can find at BalloonClick.com.

This episode contains....
a funny story from Sam
Matt Falloon - with a GREAT balloon model instructional.
Ask the Latexperts with a glimpse of the possible future of balloon modelling.
Enjoy!
;)
Just finished watching the 12 DVD from Scott Tripp, I liked it and there were five things that caught my attention which from a DVD is pretty good.
At only $12 you just can't go wrong, If there are any left you should buy one or two and give one away as a present to a friend.
This weeks episode from Scott & Sam

Another episode of The Balloon Blast Video Show! This week brings us part one of a cool peek behind the scenes of Matt Falloon's balloon cart and organizing system, a question for The Latexperts, and plenty of goof silly nonsense.
Another great episode guys, thanks and see you at Twist & Shout!
I admit it, I simply adore anything with Mentos and diet Coke. I really think I may need some sort of therapy!
Thanks for sharing . Scott's tank try ( i thought it was Signediamond ) . Oscar

Not for nothing... but that is my tank.
I will have to investigate this balloon blast show...
Dylan
The show has a nice intro on this epidode.
Hello there!
Let me jump in and clarify- This isn't my tank design. I haven't claimed it, and it has never appeared on The Balloon Blast Video Show.
I released a DVD titled Twelve, in which I showed my design for an army tank (see photo). Graham made and posted a few variations, and I guess that started the confusion- Oscar might have thought they stemmed from your design? Yours is a solid design, and I don't want you to think anyone was trying to take credit for your work.
And I hope you do investigate The Balloon Blast Video Show- We'd love to have you on board!
Howdy Scott,
Just to tidy things up on my end I should say a few things.
I was not accusing anyone of stealing anything. In fact if someone were to take a liking to one of my designs enough to replicate it for their own audience I would be flattered. Oh well, perhaps next time.
I did retread the thread to clear things up a bit. It seems I had missed the part about the DVD and had assumed that a tank was taught on the show. Oscars picture raised an eyebrow but nothing I would be in any fuss about.
I checked out the show in the past and thought it was interesting but did not watch to much further. I just checked out a recent episode and found that it has taken major leaps in the short time it has been around. I am very interested in seeing where this goes and if there is ever a need for further columns I would love to contribute in some way. Right now I am sitting through all the episodes. Where's the popcorn?
Dylan
Hi Dylan ,
I did this tank on your design on internet a few months ago ( not from the show or Dvd ) . Both tanks are similar ( but not the same ) , so i posted your one because its the first i found ... i don't want to bring confusion between fellow members .
Oscar.
I watched the last episode of the balloon blast video show last night and then went on to look at the Monkey that Scott and Sam were talking about.
There is a YouTube clip of Mr Bomas Balloons, from the Monkey he showed I made the Gorilla/Ape, needs a little tweaking but it was fun to make.
monkey.jpg[/attachment:3hvv1e13]
Hi Darren, did you use an extra Mocha balloon on this to fill the back in more?
Just wanted to say thanks to Scott and Sam for their work with the Balloon Blast video show!!! I also want to say a huge thanks to Matt Falloon and David Brenion for their latest Geo Creations. I have taken a page from Davids book and spent my whole afternoon playing with his Dino design and modified it to make it a Dragon Design. Let me know what you think
Its here!
This weeks episode, //http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_e4Q1aSyUvs
"This week's episode was filmed on location at Blue Coast Burrito in Franklin, TN. We talk shop a bit, watch the conclusion of Matt Falloon's Balloon Cart Tour, talk some more, eat some nachos, look at a sort-of Scraps 'n' Crap balloon sculpture, and talk even more. And I thought there was an Ask the Latexperts segment somewhere involving balloon nozzles...?"
So next week's episode may come direct, live and straight from Twist & Shout 2013. I'll be there.
Hi Graham
Yes I did. Without the extra mocha the body looks a bit empty.
Here it is - episode 40!
//http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRTFATmhhaI&feature=youtu.be
Here is the blurb...
"We're back! Twist & Shout 2013 is in the books, and we are slowly recovering- What a live-changing experience!
So, obviously we talk about Twist & Shout in this episode. A lot. We also look at a new Private Reserve balloon offering from ContinentalSales.Net, and Sam shows us how he does the custom artwork on his performing shoes.
Check us out at Facebook.com/BalloonBlastVideoShow
And don't forget to like, comment, subscribe, and tell a friend!"
Episode 41

"Still recovering from Twist & Shout! This episode was originally over 45 minutes long! I trimmed the fat, then trimmed some more, then hacked out huge chunks, and still, it's a long episode, but I think it's a good one. We have a solid contribution from Matt Falloon, and more Twist & Shout talk. The New Product Spotlight ran a bit long, so I cut it out, and we'll put it in next week's episode.

"The Balloon Blast Video Show was filmed on location this week at Fazoli's Restaurant for the first Nashville Balloon Jam of 2013! We talk with local balloon hero Sean T. Hughes, take a narrated tour of the jam room balloons with some sort of Rasta Alien tour guide, and try out the new Ninja print 5-inch balloons from ContinentalSales.net. I also make a fool of myself over an old Betallatex airship balloon. " Says Scott Tripp
:)
Hmm, I just realised i forgot to post last weeks episode. So here are TWO episodes of the Balloon Blast Video Show!
Episode 43

Episode 44 of The Balloon Blast Video Show brings a quick 'n' easy Easter Bunny hat, some talk about our week twisting for parties and restaurants, and our first look at Matt Falloon's new Modd Bodz balloons.
Danny, Thank you so much for being a part of this project and helping tell the world about it! You are truly one of my favorite people in the world!
Thank you Sam!
