I realise this may seem a silly question, but do people actually use bee bodies to make bees? At the steam rally I was at at the weekend, I was positioned next to a bee-keeping stand and I had a go at making a rudimentary bee from a yellow bee body  and a black 160. All I did was make the 160 into two wigs and wrap that around the 321. and I drew a face on. It was very simple and I wasn't pleased with it. So, after searching around I have seen loads of designs and DVD suggestions, but nothing to show that anyone has actually made a bee! Anyone help with a tutorial anywhere?!

I made one a year or so ago and was quite pleased. It used the bee body balloon with enough space for three pinch twists. One for the nose and two larger pinch twists for the jaw and back of head. I then used a 160 clear for wings and sharpie for the stripes.
Kindest Regards
