Title: Balloon Preservation
Post by: Bubbles on February 29, 2016, 02:46:12 AM
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to preserve sculptures? I cant seem to find it anywhere? When I have big gigs I like to prepare some balloons overnight, I would really like to prep some a day or two ahead of schedule.  Help...please

Nitrogen will make the balloon last a few extra days and then hi float will add possibly another couple of weeks.

The other thing is to put them in a freezer, mind you I have never done this.

A black bag tightly sealed and kept in a dark cool place will also help to keep the design fresher over night.

I found this recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqwUZ_dcK5I (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqwUZ_dcK5I) but was unsure about it, so I contacted Graham and he confirmed Hi-Float.  I have not tried it as yet but will do shortly.  Hope this is helpful to others with the same queries I had. Thanks a bunch Graham.

I have frozen before and it DOES work, absolutely no problem, just get out 30 mins or so before you need them :)
