I have been asked to make a barn owl for a friend to raffle at a fund raising night for an owl rescue group. I have he a play but open to ideas. Colours are my main issue as he face and head are different colours. One pic is my last owl I did for them the face on its own is my practice.

Yonaimy on you tube has an owl tutorial that you may be able to adapt but I do like the clean look of the face on your first pic.
