I just saw a really cool snake tutorial on youtube that I can't do because I don't have any round balloons, but I tried the body. It kind of worked. So instead of leaving it I thought 'Oh I'll make a giraffe'. As most of the balloon was coiled round I left the ears of the giraffe and it looks like a cool little smake now. I thought i could try and make it into a rattle snake. Is it possible to twist one finger sized bubbles and have them stay in place without twisting them round each other?
I have done rattle snake tails before. You do need to leave room at the end of the balloon because you are going to need at least 6 pinch twists.
I do three pairs of pinch twists (sort of stacked on top of each other) and each pair get slightly smaller. If you get it right, you end up with the last bit of balloon as a single bubble at the end.
If I get a chance I will do and take a picture.
Ah, okay, I might give that a try!
This is what I end up with
Great,
And if you put a bit of rice in first, it will rattle :)
This is mine,
