Title: the one twist dog
Post by: MagicGareth on June 03, 2017, 12:42:50 PM
Hello,

1st post!

i wondered if anybody has a resources for speed making a balloon animal with seemly one twist. I don't even know if this is possible or a method exists...

What i mean is that i would like to be able to blow up a balloon and make series of moves holding a balloon - like folding my arms or one behind back - when i unfold my arms, there is a balloon animal.

Does anybody know if this can be achieved??

Thanks in advance!
MG

Welcome along to the forum.

The sword is achievable with one twist.

The classic sausage dog behind your back could be made within 10 seconds.........at a guess.

Hi!

Yes of course, the sword would probably work for me. I recently watched a record attempt of most balloon dogs in 1 minute - he managed 13 I think - though it was not very graceful.

In fact, does anybody specialise in artistic making during the process (in the ways that magicians and playing cards have moved to cardists and 'cardistry')?

Ken Ahrens used to dance/move while twisting. I used to see him at The Millennium Jam.

There are quite a few balloon stage acts that are very graceful, most are European though.
