Hi Pinchtwist

Just an idea for a take on the ABC game - several times I've been primed to make a 'P' for example, but by the time I get round to it, or made anything decent enough to post, we've moved onto 'T'!!

As there's 26 letters in the alphabet, and 52 weeks in the year - so how about you have 2 weeks to come up with your best model starting with 'A' and a winner (only winning some kudos) is announced at the end of the 2 weeks period, then onto 'B' etc.... That would take us neatly through the year.

Just a thought.....

Hi Neil.

That's a good Idea for the game... but I must say that ABC game has always been on the forum as a fun way to get more people involved. It's not a competiton for the best looking sculpture that starts with ABC etc. But a competition in which all the users of the forum can get involved in, no matter what skill level they are at. So whether it's a 3 twist dog or a 155 balloon weaved dog it does not matter as long as you have enjoyed making it and you have taken part in the competition.

So I think we will leave the competition as it stands for now!

I think its a shame you can't run two ABC's at the same time on different threads.

Why can't there be the normal one AND the one Neil suggested which would give a lot more people time to come up with a balloon creation for each letter.

It seems a shame not to accommodate a great idea.

I agree with Danny and Neil. I personally find it very hard to contribute to ABC due to not having enough time.

Looking at previous versions the regular ABCers (usually Pheonix & Pinchtwist) seem to be able to get through 3 or 4 letters in only a few hours.

Give us a chance guys!

Hi Martin,

As you know I moderate the competitions section. I have been looking at the ABC game for some time now and not a lot of people have been posting on it from a day to day basis. So I posted some of the pic's that I have in my balloon album to keep the game going. I do not spend all day making balloons just to post on the ABC game. Now that would be sad :lol: .

You don't have to specially make a balloon for the game. You can post something that you have made before. As long as you have not posted it anywhere else on the forum.

But I do take your thoughts into account and I have opened up the new ABC game for a trial period.
