Way to go Tonya.... I have been searching for my eagle for a long time... glad to see you are on the band wagon with me... off for more ... know I have a lot more... somewhere on this computer...lol
How about an American Eagle.
Dave .. what a great game!!! Love it... lol
noooo already America 3 Britain 1, will have to see what I can do :geek:
Blimey Tonya!! Nice sculptures!!!
UK - Pint of Bitter. It's wonky because it's the 4th pint! Actually it is wonky because I haven't really done many attempts along these lines but was snowed in today so figured I would have a go ;)
More to come in a minute.
a full English
I love it Dillenger. Now I need to find something American to send!
how about waffle n syrup shonna
This was an attempt at a waving flag using a flat weave. I didnt care for the messy look so it never made it out of the house...
Jack, I like your flag! It looks like it's real windy in your house
So to enter this competition, I thought that the first thing to do is show the duch flag.
But I thought of that after I made something nicer, so I made the most easy/ quick flag:

So in Holland we had something wich they call cheese carriers, nowadays they only do this for tourist.
If you want to see a picture of real cheese carriers, just googlle with the word: "kaasdragers".

Danny
there is some awesome stuff being posted!...this is fun :)
this is Egypt flag it's my 1st try
This is an Eagle Dustin Queary did for a school project in 2007
I LOVE the CHEESE CARRIERS!
Here is a cheerleader and football combo produced by Dustin and I in 2005. Dustin of course did the drawing. This was his first real year of doing balloons. I can't remember for sure who did what except I know he did the drawing for me.
Some great models.
The union Flag, a little messy but I gave it a go :geek:
okay, these are old pictures, do they still count? Here is some of my wild west stuff.

Vegas-Showgirl.gif[/attachment:3okmpe6s]
Okay, now I'm done for a while until I can think of something new :)
Ok Tonya,...can you stop for a while now?
This way I will never be able to post the most pictures for Holland!! :P
Love your figures though.
Petra

Hi guys and gals.
An Irish leprechaun...
Original Dutch tulips.
tulpen.PNG[/attachment:2cdyldhl]
Petra
Quick Graham or Thelma post your English roses and we may have a chance of catching up ;)
Okay so I am a little impatient and only (just) know how to make a braided rose. Sorry it is so bad but I have only ever once made a nice braided rose and that was my first ever attempt. Since I have not been able to get my head around it properly.Braided Rose.jpg[/attachment:1pfv34ow]
Quote from: "Petra"Original Dutch tulips.
Simple, but very effective :)
As that fine upstanding patriot Al Murray the Pub Landlord would say " a fine pint of foaming british ale for the men and a white wine (or fruit based drink) for the ladies
All hail the ale :D
Thomas the tank
British Spitfire, I made this with Gerry Luff a few years back. Gerry will be lecturing at the Banstead care & share day on Wed 27th Jan, for more details; new-date-for-banstead-care-share-t2246.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/new-date-for-banstead-care-share-t2246.html)
I know we just had a rose, but can we have 2?!
Rose bracelet
I know that rose 8-)
Holy wow Graham...that's awesome! I love the rose bracelet too :)
Graham I remember when you posted this on BHQ. I took the picture straight to my co-worker the next day to show it off. Needless to say I was amazed then and amazed now. Nice work!

Dutch Windmill
noooooooooooooooooooooo we were almost in the lead
Will add up points on Monday
Well, that's not all.....
The nice thing of jamming is that there are a lot of people around you!
So I went to the different people and asked them to give me an idea for a duch figure.
The most simple one was:
Rookworst! (smoked sausage??)
rookworst.PNG[/attachment:3i50r7z1]
A cheese variation, mouse in a big cheese.
I wanted to make a big donut cheese with a tiny mouse,.....but I was so stupid to pop the only yellow donut we had!
So it's a 646 apple cheese now :P .
muis in kaas.PNG[/attachment:3i50r7z1]
And Nijntje!
Also known as Miffy, born in 1955 in Holland. Made by Dick Bruna.
Well this one is made by me!
nijntje.PNG[/attachment:3i50r7z1]
by the way,....
 I do think that making a new figure just for this competition would give double points.
That would make it a bigger challenge (o, yes and all my figures were new, so that will make me (Holland) the winner!!     tsjee, didn't think of that before..... )
:P Petra
