Hi all.
This is the new Tag game. I hope you all enjoy it.
To Get Started I will Tag......
Natalie to make a Jungle animal.
Thanks Kenny, I'm on the case.....
Argh, I'm not on the case! Sorry everyone, I've been crazy busy and it's gonna stay this way until.....
Pinchtwist, back to you......
Next time......
No Problem Natalie..
So who will I pass it to.......
Leslie I pass the tag to you to make something with a jungle theme..
Well, while my daughters played on my computer, I tried to twist something like an animal from the jungle.
Twisted left, twisted right, twisted up, twisted down, and here is the result...
... a fantasy toucan from the jungles of South America. Hope, you will love it. :?
And now, I tag somebody. Who? Hmmm... Hmmm... Let it be.... Ah, now I know, let it be...
... Phoeeeeeeniiiiiiiix! :o
Our very very lovely friend, Kevin! Please accept this tag, and twist us a... Hmmm... What? Hmmm...
...Twist us please a tool or machine from the kitchen!
:!: When you're busy in the next few days, I ask you to pass this tag to whom you like please. :!:
Hi Leslie,
Lovely Toucan, and thanks for the tag.........I think :o
I must explore the kitchen and see what I have got.......the only tool I know about for certain is my old friend Mr. Bottle Opener :D :D
I will see what I can do, and hope to have something by the weekend !!!!!!!
Hi All,
Sorry for not getting this done sooner, things have been a bit busy lately, but unfortunatly not that productive.
I looked round my kitchen to try and figure out what to make, and thought of the micro-wave, a simple weave, and maybe add a microwave meal. All sorted.
I made a quick microwave meal, then thought about weaving the micro-wave, then thought sod it ! think of something different as I find weaving a bit tedious.
(PS I fell asleep in a microwave once and got 8 hours sleep in 3 mins. Also if you put instant coffee in a microwave, do you go back in time ? ) :D :D
Anyway, back to the drawing board..... I looked for a suitable tool, and decided on a can opener, which seemed OK. Made that, but it didn't seem enough somehow.
Guess what I ended doing......yes, weaving, .......I made a can of soup to open !!!!!!!!!
Here are the results
Fun items :D
Now, who to tag.
He has wanted to be more involved over here, so I tag our friend from Auckland.....Charles Dolbel
Hi Charles, your challange is to make something sporty. Any sport you like, and either sports equipment, or sports person,
Have fun :D :D
Congrats Kevin, very nice work!
Now you have two friends in the kitchen: Mr. Bottle Opener and Mrs. Can Opener...
A little sport close to my heart, so I made a Muni (Mountain Unicycle)...
This is the first draft, will post future versions later, with bigger wheels and better tread at least...
unicycle first draft 2.jpg[/attachment:3p9oa47y]
The cranks look better from the top than the side.
unicycle first draft cranks.jpg[/attachment:3p9oa47y]
And I tag Thelma L to make a surgical scene or serious injury... (Hallowed Eve is coming of course)...
Do you mean an operating theatre scene or just a really gorey injury scene? Nice contribution by the way.
oh and just looked at the previous offerings on this thread - a nice can of soup too. Yummy.
Great Unicycle Charles, you put me to shame with the speed you did it !!!!! Hope to see More of you here :D
Glad you liked what I did Thelma, I love these competitions, as it gets you thinking of stuff you would not normally do, and I used the soup can as the basis of a portrait, posted on the pictures thread.
PS. Lovely to see you back, hope all is well with you :D :D
Hi Thelma. I think considering the big 'empty' unicycle above, (only 5 balloons), a surgical scene may be a bit cheeky.
Up to you of course, but thinking something simpler but with the unusual theme...
Thanks Phoenix, I typically take a long time tweaking the designs and end up never posting anything, so decided to go for 'Fast and Furious' to keep the thread alive. It would definitely have benefited from a soup can type accessory, but it was time for bed!
Hi Charles.
You need to tag someone. :)
He has Kenny....................Thelma
Oooops!!! I didn't see that!!
(extra bump for those skim readers)...
And I tag Thelma L to make a surgical scene or serious injury... (Hallowed Eve is coming of course)...
Here it is then a bit of horror
Now I havent been looking in much due to personal reasons here so I don't know who is keen to have a go. So who would like to be tagged?
Wow! That was even gorier than I had envisaged... Nice job, Thelma...
Love the hacksaw, and almost bored look of the um... 'doctor'...
That is definitely a bit of horror! :)
I have a little more time now so would like to join in now!
Ok Yvonne
Hmmmm what to suggest? A handbag
Whoops I hadn't realised I had been tagged. I don't always get notification emails :? Cheers for telling me Kenny and I'll have a play today and see what I can come up with. Sorry for holding everyone up.
Just a hint, maybe when you tag someone, you should PM them as well... that way nothing is missed unless their internet or email is down? :ugeek:
I am so sorry I've still not made my handbag as I seem to have come down with a lurgy. Spent most of yesterday afternoon / evening asleep. Feel much better this morning so as soon as the rugrats are all at school I'll get one sorted ;)
Handbag1.jpg[/attachment:2at6go8t]
Sorry it took so long. I will sort out who to tag later as I have to do the school run now
Just had a look but I can't work out who is still playing tag so no idea who to tag? :?
Okay so it has been suggested that Pam and Paul could be next (so long as you are not at the convention this weekend) so I would like you to make something associated with Merlin - either the traditional folklore or the TV series.
As it's been a while I have now passed the tag onto Rob Starr. Have also Pm'd you just so you know but same theme please.
Sorry Guys only got email from graham yesterday - dont usually come in here.
Busy with work at the moment and Balloons up at the unit and not here.. - not watched the Merlin on TV either.
Do have a wizard made for Oz event few years back = bt at 6foot tall more a sculpture than a model
Pam

Sue
OK... I decided to tag Colin Myles! He can make something for Christmas too!
Sue x
well golly gee thank you Sue, ;) christmas I will have to think about this.
Now who shall I Tag?
I am going to tag Neil Drummond, I know Neil is looking forward excitedely to the Millenium Jam, and the theme of the Millenium Jam this year is the big Bang, so Neil something on the big bag is your challenge
I'd like to throw my hat in the ring.
Big Bang or Big Bag is the theme for Neil?
I am back again and wouldn't mind joining in the fun if someone wanted to tag me :D
Gulp! Thanks Colin, I think?!?!? ;)
Can I get till the weekend to do this as I've a couple of Bierfests to decorate this week (as well as attend! :D )
Big bang.... big bang... big bang..... hmmmm
--Neil
Could i suggest that as Bon fire night approaches how about something firework related, they go bang!
Big Ban with a "G" on it? :D
Nice thinking, Snurb! ;) Thanks for your help.
As a 'homage' to Colin's brilliant woven heart, I'm going to try a geometrical shape. However, geometry wasn't a strong point at school, so we'll see...

Oops - sorry about the double post above!
Well, I've tried... and in honour of Colin's amazing woven heart, to represent the theme of Big Bang I've made a 'geometrically correct' (well, perhaps if I'd got my bubbles all the same size it might be) star - ok, it's nowhere near as cool as Colin's heart...
geo_star.jpg[/attachment:17rzpwza]
Snurb - you mentioned fireworks. I'd like to tag you with a firework challenge! :D
--Neil
Ok I accept the challenge but will be a few days as back to work tomorrow.
Neat Star Neil!! That might be quite effective for decor too.
Wonderful star Neil, I really like that
LOVE the star Neil! very cool!
Ok so it is Bon fire night and here is my challenge attempt. Hope you guys like it!
Now to decide who to pass it on to.
Ok I challenge Professor T Wist to create something WW2 related as I am teaching my children at school about WW2.
WW2 hhhmmmmm I have a busy few days ahead but will get on it as soon as I can. Interesting challenge.
Sorry this was slow, I have been very busy with one thing and another these last days.
In addition I had a few ideas but several misgivings about using them at this time of year. I had intended to use a tank I have done but felt that this Poppy was more appropriate

Sorry for the hold up.
PS Anyone want tagging, or shall I choose tomorrow ?
Ooh! go on then Kevin. :D
As an old bloke who is nearly 107 yrs old I don't know much about video games. I have a Mario. but didn't think it in the spirit of the competition to put pre made stuff up (but I will !!!!)
The first video games I played were pluged into my mum and dads tv (which was in a wooden cabinet )
and it was an "ATARI" ping pong game.
This is me and my sister playing that first video game.
Does anyone else remember the old days !!!!!!!
I tag Kenny (pinchtwist) for the next challenge.
Something that flies, but is not a bird.
I know Christmas time is hectic, and wish you well ;)
Yes I remember the ping pong game, they have brought it out again on a wii game as I played it with my grandson who commented on how come this is the only game you are good at ;)
Really good Phoenix !! ;)
