I just have to say how delighted I am that Graham has managed to persuade Don Caldwell of all people to come to England and given us all the opportunity to see such a great twister.  For those of you who may not realise this, Don is a fantastic Twister and a great teacher and Graham has made a coup here.  I can't wait to attend the Hales Owen workshop.  There is no way I am going to let this opportunity slip by.  and I would advice anyone who can come to this day to do so.  It will seriously be your loss if you miss it.  Thank you Graham for all the trouble you have gone to to get Don over here!!!!

Hi all,

I am new to the twisting lark and have been busy learning as much as I can in order to improve my rookie skills.

I have read loads on various sites about how to improve and have realised that going to this lecture would be absolutely essential for someone starting out like me.

As I am North West based the Birmingham lecture looks like the best option for me over the Surrey one, although I do have some friends in Surrey who I could stay with if I made the trip.

Can anyone suggest that the Surrey lecture would be essential to for someone starting out and trying to build a routine?

It may be a silly question really but I could do with some expert advice before I start booking trains and suchlike.

Quick question, I have paid for the lecture on the normal system and recieved the basic "we have recieved your order" confirmation but have had no other confirmation since.

Can you confirm I am booked on the lecture and when to expect info on what to bring for the day, ballons etc?

Or do I just turn up at the venue at the start time?

All balloons are provided on the day for you so just bring a pump, no battery or electric are allowed as they are too noisy during the lecture. A camera, bin bag to take your models home and a cream cake for me
