Just booked my Travelodge for this one so I will be attending. :-)
Travelodge booked for Tuesday.
Can you put me down for lunches please Graham?
See you all there!
I'd better get a lunches list started then, you are the first David.
And me too please Graham :D
Looking forward to seeing you all :)
Here is just one of the designs I will be teaching, A large Mickey or Minnie Mouse head that you can add to a twisted or décor body, or column etc.

Last call to attend the two day event next week or come along to just one of the days, non members of the balloon artistes guild are most welcome to attend.
In fact everyone is more than welcome, we are a very fun friendly group of twisters/decorators and entertainers.

Sitting in Gregg's with the breakfast special, coffee and porridge for £2 :)
Had a stressful drive up last night, a three hour journey turned into five with an accident on M25 and then a crane on fire. We ended up going the scenic route via Swindon way to pick up the M5 to Birmingham.
Still we got here and it could have been worse.
Oh how I wish the "Pond" between us was not so big, I would love to attend this one!!
What an excellent couple of days, thanks to everyone who attended and made is such a fun event and thanks to Graham for organising it :D looking forward to the next ones.
Loved both workshops. Lots of great new ideas. Thank you Twistina, Danny, Graham and Lyn. Great to see everyone too. Xx
Pleased to announce we had a non eventful journey home and with a stop for coffee only took three hours unlike the five to drive up on Monday night.
Thanks to Twistina and Dan for the fun workshops, David Ellis for the really funny moment of the two days and everyone else who makes these events what they are.
MOST ENJOYABLE
Thanks for the help carrying stock in and out, keeping the room tidy and all being great friends, people miss out on so much by not attending.
The info shared and moments that do not read right but were so so funny and you just had to be there to share them, thanks to all.
Thought I would post a couple of pictures from the new camera, not too impressed with it, had trouble with focus and it looked a little on the yellow side when taking pictures so will be interesting to see how they come out, I took 500 pictures over the two days :o
They will take a while to download.
A couple of the pictures, Amanda trying not to laugh.
Seeing what the new camera looks like with leaving a larger picture, the first ones looked a little small,
Looks like the forum automatically changes them to the same size, oh well never mind.
Twistina made some lovely cakes and made a little plug for her CD collection.
Paul really wanted to be photographed and for the picture to appear all over the internet, you can just tell :)
Christine.........................I'm shocked :D
I think this was my effort with the mouse.
Dan showed how to get the softer eye line look with a wet pen going over the black marker,
My attempt at a certain frozen character and then Thelma's attempt.
Snowmen turned up everywhere and on both days with completely different look and style.
Amanda made the Olaf for an event she was at on the Wed evening,
Last picture are my efforts from the morning sessions,
I liked the Christmas wands,
A few more wands that I thought would be very usable in the real world situation.
More Xmas wands,
There were plenty of variations on a theme made, Nici really going for the competition and concentrating on getting the model exact.
Some variations on Twistina's mouse,
My variation of Twistina's snowman,
Everyone working away,
A few of the efforts from Twistina's head design.
Amanda behind the mask :)
Thelma was dancing with her Mickey Mouse, the picture was not as funny as being there...........it was fun!
Our first competition winner Nici and her Amy Winehouse balloon, Steve won as well but I think the pictures did not come out. Steve made the Dinosaur with bird on head.
Twistina's Shark and Robin's.
Twistina made the burger and at a guess Adie made the hot dog but that is a guess,
Dave made the rabbit in the pub and I changed it into a shoe,
In the pub for a meal after the Twistina day,
Amanda made the tree to take back for her school Christmas party, the start of day two and Dan looking very smart after a brush up and wash ;)
Rob made the ? from a picture that was shown the night before in the pub. The shoe was from the rabbit shown the night before as well.
Then someone saw a dog's face if the shoe was turned upside down. Andy made the giant sword,
A few dolphins, we were joking about anything and everything being added to a hairband recently so Amanda had a go. It was funny.
Still on dolphins, I think the first one I made from Dan's design.
Dan showed a version of another snowman,
I think I made a couple of versions, it was a while ago now.
A few made a fire side setting as there was a real fire at the venue, I up scaled Twistina's Robin,
The shoe that was made from the rabbit sculpture that was shown in the pub the night before,
It was nice to see Pam and Paul at one of the days,
The fireside moment, others had pipe, slippers etc but I missed that shot.
Amanda lost her scissors for a while and every 5 minutes kept asking if anyone had found them, I think Adie made her a pair.
Dan's Sonic and Taz,
Some of the fireside balloons and Amanda getting ready for her gig,
Coming up for the two afternoon sessions and the competition,
A few variations on Dan's Dinosaur,
More from the day,
Some of the competition pieces, it was incorporate a stick into the design in honour of Dan :)
The competition on day two was fun but a lot did get dis-qualified, I will explain later.
Not sure if Dan entered or was holding this for someone that had to leave early? I expect the later as Dan was a judge.
In the competition Dan and I forgot about Thelma's lipstick, sorry about that as it could have ben a winner, will explain later.
We had three winners, Amanda & Barbara (joint) Steve and Rob.
Everyone else was dis-qualified as the rule was there had to be a stick in the piece and some had steaks, twigs, branches etc and Dan was a stickler (see stick..ler, he he)
We did forget about Thelma and her lip stick so that would have been a winner as well.
More from competition on day two where nearly everyone was dis-qualified.
This was the start of Dan's last session of the day,
These are the last two pictures from the day, the coffee cups are my small latte and Rob's large latte from Weatherspoons, can you see a difference.................
No, nor could we but it made us smile :)
Thanks to everyone that attended the days and helped to make the days what they are :D
